Drove to Denver just to check this bar out. Attempted to go at 4:15 since their website says they open at 4. Elevator would not... go to the top and it was not accessible. Asked a worker in the lobby to help and she said she can not get anyone to unlock thedoor and was not helpful or welcoming. Ugh?. I really want to like this place? but $10 cover to go upstairs to a less than exciting rooftop where you smell the Purina... factory pet food so strongly?. Drinks/service was good and the atmosphere is fun, but will not be returning. Also annoying thaton the way out they were not charging cover and I feel like we got scammed by whoever was at the door?.. very strange. Read more

I waffled between 3 to 4 stars and gave the higher number. As a place to hang and for the view, it's truly unique right now in... Denver. Not a lot of buildings in the way of your view. Great design and architecture touches. As a place to eat or getdrinks...eh. I spent $50 on two appetizers that included 2 skewers each. Let me repeat that...$50 for four small skewers total.Even the bartender suggested hitting the pizza place across the street. My suggestion...hit RiNo Beer Garden first for some foodand pre-game, then head to Red Barber for the view, some more drinks, and the hang. Read more
10/10! If you?re looking for perfect mountain-meets-city views, you?ve found it. The Red Barber is a mid-century modern bar... complete with outdoor seating and 360 degrees views of Denver and the mountain backdrop. Their drink menu is nothing short ofunique, yet not overwhelming. Get their early to snag a spot at the bar or cuddle up at the cozy fire places. There is plenty ofseating and the staff is wonderful. I truly believe this is one of the best sunset viewing spots in all of Denver. Read more
