This wasn't our first time but brought the kids so they could experience the fried chicken. Again the Post never disappoints.... They each got the kids chicken tenders with Mac n cheese, which both were great. Wife and I had the roasted chicken and thechicken ranch BLT. Both excellent and juicey (that little tomatoe jam is really good). I have had their fried chicken dinnerwhich is also so scrumptious. Def will be back! Read more

Some great friend chicken and pretty good craft beer. The chicken was moist with a light but crunchy and lightly spiced... breading. The home-style side dishes were all thoroughly enjoyed by our group including mashed potatoes with gravy, collardgreens, and biscuits. The restaurant was busy but service was quick and all staff were friendly, polite, and helpful with allquestions. Sep 2022 Read more

Have been a fan of Post for years, so it’s great to have easy access right in Denver. The chicken is succulent even through... the frying and paired with their brews ($7 bucks for a sixer of pilsner?! great combo!) Biscuits are also great. Only minorgripe is that the “large side” of brussels sprouts in the take out meal for 4 is quite small (half pint container). 4.5stars overall. Read more

My only regret is that we didn't know sooner. Unbelievable, perfect, absolutely delicious everything. The chicken literally... brought back childhood memories of chicken after church. The green chili macaroni and cheese was shared by all and there wasnone left. The biscuits are served with butter and you better make sure everybody gets their own because sharing can go reallybad really quick. This is truly a gem, a diamond in the rough, that little spot on Broadway that you probably driven past athousand times. I had the four piece split 50/50 between normal and Tennessee flavored. The spice on that Tennessee flavored isundescribable, just stupid good oozing with flavor. The original has so much flavor in it I didn't think the Tennessee was goingto be able to compete with it, until I did and it did. The chicken is served with a little bowl of brown gravy? Save that forthe chicken breast. Not that it needs it because that white meat is almost as tender as the dark meat and you know I would belying if I said it was the same. If somebody at the table got french fries and you didn't, borrow one and give it a gravybath... so good. Everybody enjoyed everything, it's very affordable. My family of six walked out of there holding our belliesfor $148 and that was with one dessert everybody had tea or Sprite or some beverage and an alcoholic beverage was consumed aswell. Wait for it, did I mention it all the chicken is gluten free? That's right, the chicken's fingers the chicken breast thechicken thigh the chicken wing every single piece gluten-free. My daughter was clinically diagnosed with celiacs when she wasfour. I've done my best to make good gluten-free chicken and I've gotten Good at it. I'm never making fried chicken again I'mgoing there every time. I honestly can't believe there wasn't a line going down Broadway. If you like fried chicken youabsolutely have to go here. If you like fried chicken and you eat a gluten-free diet you're welcome. This was my Read more

I remember the first time I’ve been to The Post, around this time in 2021. And it was probably the juiciest, crispiest, golden... brown, well-seasoned fried chicken I’ve ever had. It was always hot and juicy, as if it was straight out of the fryer. So wekept going back and it’s been consistently great…except for these last two times within the span of few months, includingtoday. Idk, maybe there was change in the recipe or something, but the chicken was neither juicy, hot, nor crispy as it oncewas. When I cut into it, it’s a little dry and the batter’s kinda cracked and falling apart, as if it’s been sitting outfor a bit or they didn’t use enough coating. It’s really disappointing to see because I’d always recommended The Post toeverybody and their mothers. Not sure if I’ll get the half fried bird plate again. Thankfully, I’ll always have thehalf-pound peel and eat shrimp. Read more
