I have eaten here before and I thought that the French toast was really good so I ordered some this morning. When I opened the... Box this is what it looked like. There is NO syrup. The toast is burnt. There's just a couple little blueberries in there. Ithought maybe the syrup was on the toast but no, It is dry as a bone. This is very disappointing. Read more

Tessa 's just started a brunch and it's a great, family friendly opinion. Having the TV on for cartoons really lowers the stress... level, and makes it inviting. Recommend the bacon breakfast burrito for the adults and cheesey eggs for the kids. All you caadrink coffee! Read more

Love this place. Classic older Colfax building, open space with lots of light, feels good hanging out for a while enjoying a... delicious sandwich. They have the deli regulars and interesting updates as well. Everything we've had is very tasty. Super nicepeople. Oh, and cocktails and beer for when we're driving home from work and stop by. Such a great part of the neighborhood. Read more

Very much enjoyed this first visit to TD. The overall feel is warm and inviting from the service to the decor, lots of local... goods sold here. Sandwiches came out quick and made with quality ingredients. Portions are fair in size. Worth a return forsure! Read more

Been meaning to try Tessa for a while now, and oh wow, it lived up. I am a classic Italian sub kind of person and the OG Italian... superseded my expectations. Flavor, breads, cuts of meats, and sauces were all on point (I always go sans tomato). Can?t wait tocome back and try the rest of the menu! Read more

I had lunch here yesterday and it was so good I ordered dinner to take home too. The BBQ pastrami and the meatloaf sandwich were... both incredible. Lots of space inside, some 2 top tables outside, and they even have cocktails/charcuterie. I can?t wait to comeback and try those! This place is a gem. Read more

I had a great experience at Tessa Delicatessen the other night. The store is very cute- very bright and clean and nicely... decorated. The staff were awesome- I?d seriously rate 5 stars just based on how nice the guy at the counter was. I had theBrussels, a muffuletta sandwich, and got a Cuban togo for my husband. The Brussels were delish- they weren?t fried which isunique (not that there?s anything wrong with fried Brussels!) but were tossed with a light dressing and yummy cheese. Themuffuletta (which was recommended to me) was very tasty. I especially liked the crusty bread and the olive spread. I didn?t trythe Cuban, but my husband said it was great and gobbled it up. Thanks for the great experience! Read more
