I've been disappointed too much with Smiling Moose lately. I ordered the Pikes Peak and the "large" on ciabatta was definitely... not large (perhaps a 5" square). The hippie chick on baguette was quite a bit larger but still a disappointment - the breadwasn't toasted, and with the exception of the spinach, there wasn't much else for fillings. Amazing experience with the catering team. John was accommodating and responsive. When we had a last minute addition, I was able... to add another item to the order the same day. Food was delivered timely and still warm and had rave reviews. I was coordinatinga meeting for a group where none of us are from the area and I have signed the praises to the local team. I used to go here for their delicious sandwiches when they had a location on Wynkoop in the heart of downtown Denver. The... sandwiches are monstrous and delicious. Went today and tried a new version of the mo (the bronx) and it left a lot to bedesired. The amount of filling to bread no longer justifies the $8.50-$12.50 price Read more
Wow, such great service. The food is great, ambiance is great. I work outside all day and it was cold and wet. Stopped in for... the Bronx Pastrami Mo and to warm up for lunch. Manager bought my Mo. Today, I ordered Smiling Moose for the office. The order was well labeled and the food was fantastic. The ingredients were fresh... and flavorful, the bread was soft at the center and perfectly toasted on the outside. Best sandwich I've had in literal years.Already wondering how soon is too soon to come back. Read more
