Reviews for Slices Pizza in Denver, CO
As a New Yorker, this pizza offended me. I haven't been this let down by pizza since Chuck E Cheese at Timmy Wilson's birthday... in '97. This pizza was cold, it had no sauce and was thinner than my patience. Don't even get me started on the crust, crustwhat crust!? (Literally there was no crust). My disappointment is immeasurable and my day has been ruined. Will not return.Drive through was convenient though Read more
It was good. We were on our way out of town and looking for pizza. We tried to go in and had to get back in the car and drive... around to the drive throw. It would have been much better if we could have seen an menu. We would have spent more money andprobably gotten better food. We got the combo and it was nothing special. Read more
We've been driving by this place for so long and finally decided to give it a try on our way home from work today. Took a bit to... turn into the right entrance, but once we got to the window, everything was positive! The guy at the window was super friendlyand courteous. We got 3 2-slice-and-a-drink meals and ate them at home. The pizza is sooooooo tasty! Super thin crust, flavorfulingredients, tasty toppings (pepperoni and Hawaiian) and great service! We will be back! Read more
I've been eating here for years and I have neglected to leave a review! It's just good, straightforward pizza - thin, crispy... crust you can fold, fresh tasty ingredients, and REAL sliced sausage! I hate those frozen sausage pellets most places use thesedays. Not here, they have the real deal. And on top of all that, they're the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. Same folksworking there for years now so it's consistently good. I don't understand why there aren't more drive-thru pizza joints, but I'mglad live close to this one! Read more
Absolutely fantastic NY style pizza. The bacon feta was delicious and the owner Steve was a really cool guy. We will definitely... be back and recommend this place to anybody! Read more
I was craving a normal cheese pizza today and driven by this place a ton but never stopped in. it was really good exactly what I... was hoping for. The pizza is thin new york style cheese and the sauce was great too. What I will say though is that theirwebsite is horrible they really need to update it, not being able to order online to pick up or even offering like deliverythrough door dash or uber eats I think is a big revenue miss for them. If the owner reads this its really easy to make your ownprofessional website I recommend a pluigin called DIVI. Anyways keep making the great pizza thanks! Read more
I?ve been driving past this place for years and I honestly did not know how to get to the drive-through and I finally figured it... out. :) I told person in the drive-through who I am assuming was probably the owner to surprise me. He gave me a meat loverspizza slice along with the Mediterranean slice. Both of them were absolutely delicious. He also gave me a free cake ball in caseI did not like his choices. This is definitely a thin New York style pizza, And probably the best I?ve had in Denver so far.Major chains tend to be really greasy and flavorless and floppy. This pizza was not greasy at all, And the crust still had anamazing crunch when you bit into it that was very flavorful. The sauce As other people have commented is perfectly balanced nottoo sweet, and the perfect amount. The ratios of the toppings were perfect. Two slices of pizza and a drink for under sevendollars is a great deal! This side of town was really missing something like this and I?m so glad to finally try it! The cakeball also is worth trying. It was not dry it out like something you would have at Starbucks. It literally was like having apiece of cake in a ball. Very rich, moist, And a great balance between the cake and frosting ratio. I will absolutely bereturning! Read more
Best in Denver? Nah. Sorry. There is some scarily good pizza to be found if you are willing to drive 20 minutes or over to get... to it. But the best within a 10 minute drive of this location? Easily, yes. You pay more than you would at Dominos. But inexchange for the premium, nice people give you real food -- as opposed to some industrial assembly line product. Getting to theplace is annoying. It's kind of in the back of other businesses. I hope they got a great deal on their lease and I want to slapthe architect who designed the layout of those buildings. I'm not blaming the owners. The realities of real estate are bitter.I'm just saying keep your eyes peeled and drive carefully when you go there. And, yes, you probably should go. Read more
