Reviews for Shondiz Kabob Persian Grill in Denver, CO
Incredible food, the meats were perfectly seasoned with a smoky flavor. The salads were fresh and delectable (per my 11 year old... son) and falafel was hot, crispy and devoured quickly. Persian lemonade is our new craving - tart, sweet, and reminiscent ofrose. The staff is friendly and open, my son loved chatting with them, and his father and I were happy for their on pointrecommendations. The entire restaurant was nicely decorated and exceptionally clean. We will be back whenever we're in town, andpossibly will make the 8 hour drive (each way) just for dinner. Read more
Nice place and pleasant owners. I had the soltani dish. The kofta was great but the beef was just ok.
The food was good. The service was very slow for a group of 20 people. They should have started bringing out some dishes dishes... earlier instead of waiting until every single dish was completed and then bringing them all out together. It definitely required2 hours for the lunch. Again, the food was good and it might be better for smaller groups or just a small family but they don'tmanage large groups well. Read more
Food was great! I truly enjoyed every bite of my Barg kabob. And super friendly people… I highly recommend this place.
First time to try Shondiz and Persian food in general, AND WOW GREAT INTRODUCTION, nice to meet you! Very much enjoyed... everything from the sides (excellent hummus and falafel), mains (very tasty chicken and fluffy rice), and even the very uniquerose-flavored lemonade. YUM! Service was also good ???????? Read more
This place is a hidden treasure! All the food was excellent and the restaurant is very clean, spacious for sit down eating, and... nicely decorated. The staff was very nice. I wish I had remembered to get pictures of our main dishes, but they smelled toodelicious to wait. We got the beef shawarma sandwich and a beef doner platter. The beef was very flavorful. The falafel on theplatter was some of the best we've ever had. Everything complimented each other well. The baklava was AMAZING; not too sweetand great texture. It's wonderful with the Persian hot tea! Read more
My family and I got the Persian Barley Soup, Falafel, Dolma and Tetziki to start with and we loved it. The Persian Barley Soup... was delicious! Definitely recommend trying it. I love their appetizers. For the entrée, we got Joojeh, Koobideh and Barg andthe whole thing was delicious. The Joojeh was flavorful and juicy. Even the rice that came with it was really good. We also hadGhormeh Sabzi (Persian herb stew) and it tasted like magic. The Persian Lemonade and Doogh (a yogurt drink) were especiallygood. They taste like nothing you’ve ever tried before. The individual portions are very generous. The place is beautiful andclean and there is free parking available. Highly recommend checking out the place if you're in the area. It's a great place togather with friends and family. Service/customer service is very good. We got good food, and had a good time, and everything wasdelicious. We were celebrating a special event with family and friends tonight. It is an intimate enough setting to be able to talk and... hear each other despite other guests also eating dinner there too. From start to finish everything was perfect. Food arrivedquickly, we ordered appetizers, drinks, followed by our dinners. Everything was perfect. The people that work here are superkind and attentive. Food is delicious. My first time having Persian lemonade here and I loved it! Highly recommend the falafels, fresh, warm and best I've ever had anywhere. Lamb kabobs were delicious. Honestly everything here has exceptional flavor and ishigh quality.
