Peet's is always consistently excellent coffee, far better than the green mermaid place across the street. This one could use a... little more seating, but I don't think that's an issue other than during peak rush times (when most people are likely notlooking for seats anyway) -1 star only because this is a Peet's franchise thru the hotel, and so don't honor app check-ins. Today I was enjoying a coffee while doing my homework. Out of nowhere one of the employees came and told a man to leave. It was... clear the man was homeless, but he had bought a coffee and was just enjoying it in the corner. It's 40 degrees today, andobviously he'd spent the money to enjoy himself in the warmth for a few minutes. They claimed that there were complaints abouthis behavior, but I was sitting near him and up until then hadn't noticed anything. He seemed genuinely sad and shocked to beasked to leave. I packed up my stuff and will not be going back to get Peet's coffee ever again. If they won't stand up fortheir homeless patrons, then I don't want to buy from them ever again. The homeless are humans and deserve to be treated withdignity. Shame on Peets. Read more

I frequented Peet’s multiple times during my stay in Denver. One of the female baristas made fun of my “complicated” order... each time and even rolled her eyes. One time it was made wrong and I politely asked the older gentleman to remake it as Iapologized profusely for being difficult. Each time I tipped the baristas and having worked in the food/beverage industry myselfI Pride myself on being super polite. I’d work on your customer service especially when there is a Starbucks literally nextdoor. Read more

This place is a coffee inside one of the hotels. I actually won a raffle and got a $5 Peet's Coffee card. Although I was pretty... psyched about it, I asked myself what in the world will I buy with just 5 bucks. Oh well i said, went in there and looked aroundand saw some pastries but then I decided to settle for their parfait. It was about $3.85 plux tax. I bought it, taste it and Ilove it! Happy with my choice, I left the shop smiling. Go check out Peet's Coffee. It's right in Downtown. Great place to graba quick bite from if you're in a rush. Read more

Went to this coffee shop on Friday morning 4/27/18 around 9 am. I was standing there waiting for my friends to pick up their... order and was observing the staff. Coming from a huge customer service background I was disappointed. None of the staff smiledat all. A gentleman at the check out counter said..."next please" the next in line was talking with a co-worker and didn'thear...honest mistake. He only had to repeat himself 1 more time and I hear him say not under his breath...."Jesus Christ payattention" which the customer did not hear...but I did. My friend was paying and another lady at the counter asked do you needanything else? My friend didn't hear her.....she rudely makes her voice louder and says.....DO YOU NEED ANYTHING ELSE? He saidno that is it. He goes to hand her his card....instead of asking him to use the machine to use the chip...she rudely points tothe side as though he should have already known. The only person to walk by and say hi....the manager or someone in a suit. Iunderstand....you are a busy coffee shop....but take the time and smile and have fun. Remember because you work inside a hotelit looks like you are representing both companies. Read more

Yes! There is a Peet's Coffee here in Denver. Got my usual. Iced caramel macchiato. As I said before, Peet's is so much... better than Starbucks. And there is a Starbucks across where I'm sitting. Read more

The long haired broad that took my order at approximately 3:30 on June 2nd was the only rude person that I have met during my... stay in Denver, ordered a drink, iced, and received it hot.. I brought the drink back and explained that I had ordered it icedand her response was "You never said iced, but whatever." Took my cup and sloppily poured it over ice and slid it to my acrossthe counter. She needs to learn some decent customer service, and how to be pleasant. I called back to get her name but sherefused to give it to me and hung up the phone. Would not recommend this coffee shop to anyone just based on the service alone Read more

They messed up my order today. It wasn't a big deal - it was an easy mistake to make. The mixed up the milks for my coffee and... another customer's. I was very apologetic and said "sorry" multiple times, but that I was afraid they had mixed up part of myorder. I was very polite and kind. In return, the barista was incredibly disrespectful and acted like it was my fault. I haveworked in food service, so I understand how hard it can be. Her response, however, was completely unacceptable and downrightrude! When I finally got my correct order, it tasted like flavorless steamed milk. My friend, who was not involved in theconfusion, had the same flavorless milk concoction. She threw her almost full cup away. We will not be returning. Read more
