I love Gordon Ramsey and since I'm in town here in Denver I decided to check Pantaleone's out! So far it's really great looking... interior wise and the server has been really nice. The pizza is excellent! I had the Roma! I highly recommend it. You will notbe disappointed! Read more
Visited Pantaleones while in Denver. I was a bit disappointed the place is takeout only but I understand these past years... (especially 202) have been difficult for the restaurant industry. We ordered two pizzas (28usd) and ate in our car. The pizza isgood American pizza. Personally, I think it must be really hard to have everyone judge your character from a 30-40 min show.It?s not fair, Pete is truly nice guy. Haven?t even gotten to the pizza yet! (Looks amazing tho.) Hands DOWN!!!!!!!!!!! The BEST Caesar Salad Dressing in Colorado.... It?s perfectly fishy, perfectly zesty, perfectly cheesy. Hidden off of Holly & Evans, the unexpected culinary level of thissimple, yet consistently bastardized dressing is unparalleled at any restaurant in Denver! (Fight me) The pizza is prettyfantastic as well, superb crust!!! I want to shake the hand of the chef that makes this dressing?.definitely ordering again anddefinitely worth every penny! The best pizza that I've ever tasted in the Great state of Colorado. Period. A really tasty pie! With the pillowy crust, The special sauce which is really different, tangy and you can tell ALL the... ingredients are fresh. So glad Gordon Ramsey (Kitchen Nightmares) came in to mix things up cause Pete and his crew have agift. We tried the Aloha pizza and will definitely be back to try others. Read more
My biggest complaint is that Pete is charging way too much for the quality of his food. It cost me $45 for one large pepperoni... pizza and a linguini and clam pasta dish. Pete's still using canned clam, and he's charging you $20 for it! The dish wasswimming in oil and excess water, and overall had very little taste. Though you can't see it very well in the picture, there wasalmost no white sauce to go along with all the pasta. Stay away from the pasta! The pizza I had wasn't bad, but it wasn'tspectacular; especially when considering value. Believe all the other reviews saying how floury the dough is. I had raw flourall over my hands while trying to eat this pizza. It completely takes over any flavor the pizza could've had. I paid $18 for thelarge pepperoni pizza. In all honesty, it was just a basic pizza and completely forgettable. The fact that I can get THREELittle Caesar's pepperoni pizzas, arguably with similar or even better taste, for the same exact price of $18 just makes me feellike Pete ripped me off. I am honestly surprised the food at this establishment isn't considered a controlled substance - it is ADDICTIVE. The dough on... the pizza? Heaven. The sauce? Perfection. The cheese? Exceptional. The staff? Top tier. Genuinely don't know how this palace ofpizza pleasure is not the busiest, most in demand pizzeria in Colorado. Truly cannot recommend enough. Read more
