It's back to basics with Oishii. Big bowls of ramen with your preferred protein, a bottle of hot sake, and good service, and... that's a quick, solid lunch. The place is really nice. It's small and unfussy as far as I can tell. Perfect place for a quicklunch or a more relaxed evening, as there's no tables but a central bar. The specialty is ramen, of course, and I don't thinkthere's any bad choice here. Pretty nice place, worth visiting for lunch if you're craving ramen. Read more
Found this little ramen place located right near 16th street mall. Very traditional style of seating as instead of sitting at... individual tables you sit around an island bar. It honestly was quite busy and for good reason the food and service wereamazing. Some of the best ramen I?ve had. The Mango Mochi was delicious as well. Dropped in to try this place after a Broncos game a bit before closing with a large group of about 9 people. They were able to... seat us and get us drinks served right away. I should mention that the dining room is small, and by that I mean it?s one looonghorseshoe shaped table and the server walks along the inside and that?s it, which I personally thought was really cool. So ifyou?re not into comunal seating this might not be for you. One of the guys I was with mentioned that it felt like he was back inJapan. The Ramen (Spicy miso w/ black garlic oil added) I ordered was some of the best I?ve had in Denver, and the service wasgreat too. Everyone else in the party ordered different items and also really enjoyed them. I highly recommend trying this placeout if you like Ramen. Absolutely amazing ramen place. The atmosphere is gorgeous and the food is beyond delicious. I had the vegetable ramen and it... tasted like heaven. The edamame was so fresh. I got the spicy tonkotsu ramen with chicken, and my mom got the black tonkotsu ramen with pork belly. We both LOVED our ramen.... Seriously some of the best ramen we have ever had.
