Stopped by this place after eating next door. Had no idea what to get, the young man at the counter could tell we were a... little overwhelmed and lost, he was so nice and helpful. Telling us about the different options, gave us samples of a new icecream they had. Waited for about 10 mins but there were a few customers before us, owner (or who I thought was the owner) shewas having fun banter with other regular customers. Very nice atmosphere. We got a waffle Sunday (delicious) orea frappe ( Ican't remember if that's what's it's called) very good and I got a mangonatha ( awesome!) We will be back for sure! Read more

Got to my hotel and wanted Mexican food. Searched uber eats and found this spot. After reading the reviews I figured I'd give it... a try. I ordered a burrito, a asada and al pastor taco. First I was kind of thrown back by the beans. Not my first time seeingit in a taco but have never seen it north San Diego. But more about the tacos. The tortillas were a mix between flour and corn. They weren't bad, wish they had been heated up a bit more. The meat both asada and al pastor were pretty tasteless. The beanswere ok but feel they needed more seasoning. The tacos in general had very little flavor. The worse part was the lack of salsa.Never have I ordered tacos and not at least been given one or two red or green salsas. Now the burrito. For 10 bucks what I gotwas an embarrassing display. This thing is maybe an inch and a half in thickness. I knew I wasn't going to enjoy it when I sawthe lettuce. Just all around disappointment full off fillers. Where's the beef comes to mind? All in all I'm going to say I wasmore impressed then let down. I know after reading what I wrote that's probably hard to believe. But I was expecting a lot worsefor Denver mexican food. I can't wait to go back to southern Cali. Read more

So this day started with me going to pull into taco bell to grab a cold treat. As I sat in the parking lot I saw across the... street a sign tucked away interview distance. Being a foodie I decided to take a trip, boy was it worth it. I entered off ofGVR Bolukevard as it's tucked away like a hidden treasure that it is. Upon going in I didn't know what to expect but thenormal, be open. Boy was the karma good!!! There a good but if things for me and I have a kinda small palette. I wasentertained by Amy who asked if I needed help and who became my guide for the next 15-25 minutes. She delicately explained eachdifference between the items as I hadn't been exposed to many Hispanic desserts. Just the cold section was enough for me tobecome a frequent visitor but when I found that they had churro sundaes I almost lost it (combined with cinnamon rice icecream). They have sundaes, sorbets fizz, floats, milk shakes, magonadas, and frames. Then there was the food item selection: Icould get wings (various seasonings), street tacos, smothered fries, burritos, domino's etc... Don't sleep on Un Limon I willbe reaching out to the owner with an idea that will help expand their current client basen, this is one place I standbynthaysntotslly slept on but won't be slept on for long of I have my way! Yolanda contact me please! Paris Omar Read more

When I walked into this restaurant, I was not welcomed or acknowledged. No hello, how are you....nothing. Well, nothing but a... bunch of stares. When an employee finally acknowledged me, she assumed I was picking up an order from some delivery service.???? I almost walked out after they reluctantly took my order. But, I wanted to try something new and different in the area soI got the pork street tacos. They weren't bad and I'll leave it at that. Will I be back? No. Read more

If you haven?t been, you have to come try this new spot in GVR. The mangonadas are delicious, especially on a hot day!!! The... tacos are also great, some of the best ones I?ve had in the area. We tried the street tacos, both asada & carnitas and the tacosUn Limón, and all were great but my favorite were the ones of asada. Also try the street corn, it?s sooo good. Definitelyreturning for more! Read more

Entrance/Parking is in the back side closest to the street. They have tacos, tortas, ice cream and lots more. I got steak tacos... and a banana split and they were very good! They had great portions! They don't have much seating since it's small but thiswould be an ideal place to grab ice cream and go. The only reason why I didn't give this place a five star was because they'renew and need some organization, other than I will be back! Update: I came back and they did amazing! 100% recommended!! We went in for lunch, although a bit unorganized, that is understandable for a new business getting off the ground. The staff... was very helpful and had any answers for our questions. The food... obviously made fresh! She had vegetarian street tacos andesquite which she loved(both). I had the restaurant flagship, the Tacos Un Limon... They were delicious... As I ate them, Icould taste different flavors as I chewed! The bite started a little sweet then spicy and then the avocado cooled my palate. Thetortillas were fresh and just the right crispiness. I enjoyed my tacos so much that we had had to get a scoop of ice cream. I didn't take any pics cuz we dug right in. I highly recommend this place... I want to go back soon and sample their variety offruit drinks as well as othe tacos... Thumbs up, give it a try! Read more
