Restaurant first impressions walking in: Very clean and neat. They're going for that Mediterranean feel with the ceiling... painted like a blue sky with fluffy snow-white clouds and pictures of Greek shore towns. Maybe Oia, Santorini? Some place likethat. I love how clean it is. Clearly they care a lot about that. Very small flower pots on every table. And silverware set outat each seat. Wait staff is attentive and polite, although it was not busy when I was there. First I got a complementary breadbasket. The bread inside was cold and wasn't especially flavorful. But there was a hot pita inside. And that was very nice. Takeaway the cold bread and throw in another hot pita and that bread basket would be a real winner. The butter that comes with thebasket is ice cold, so even though it's whipped, it's still pretty much unspreadable. Iced tea was fine. I tried the soup ofthe day. Beef barley. This is canned soup, isn't it? Not good. Needs salt and in general simply needs flavor. Don't orderthis. Liver and onions with Greek potatoes: They slice the liver very thin. It's sometimes hard not to overcook liver when it'sthat thin. And that's what happened. Overall too chewy and overcooked liver. The Greek potatoes were nice. That sort of roastedtexture on the outside, but very tender and soft on the inside. Flavorful too. If a friend said "Hey, let's go to Monaco Innand just eat pita bread and Greek potatoes!" I might take them up on an offer like that. Read more

Greeted at the door, seated quickly after being asked for preferences. High ceilings, painted frescos, photographs and art.... Interesting mix of Greek, American and Mexican. We tried the Greek. Zeus and Mediterranean combos. I really enjoyed the lamb andthe moussaka. Others enjoyed the dolmades and lemon chicken soup. Fun, smooth visit. Read more
