Absolutely great service and food! Highly recommend they're lobster! They have a tank in the back with FRESH lobster. Which... means your lobster is handpicked and steamed in less them 15-20 minutes of being in front of you! Tubular service from ourbartender Chris who recommended a slightly tart rose sparkling wine for me and an IPA for my man. Definitely will visit againsoon. Read more
Food and service were equally terrible. Gritty and flavorless steamed oysters. Overcooked lobster roll that was reminiscent of... burnt tires doused in lemon juice. A lobster pasta that was the color of a hi-vis vest and had about as much flavor. Was toldit’s was a “parsnip purée with peppers”. I don’t think the waiter has ever eaten a parsnip or pepper. The lobster inthe pasta was I’m assuming cut with a chainsaw and cooked in boiling hot dog water. When I said the food was bad the waiterresponded “yeah it’s definitely interesting.” All of this combined with the 3 total visits to our table and 30 minutesbetween courses made this a restaurant worth never visiting again. Came in on a whim for dinner and drinks. Thr barrel aged cocktails (Not so Old Fashioned and the Soprano) were great. We also... shared (3 of us) the bacon an blue mussel pot, the octopus, the beet salad and the calamari. Read more
Great food and fantastic service. Oysters and lobster bisque were amazing. You could really taste the homemade shell broth in... the bisque, super deep flavors. Loved the loved lobster roll and scallops too. The the grand finale was the homemade key limepie. They make a mean old fashioned too. What a great meal and experience! Read more
The location is pretty nice.. a few resteraunts in the are to visit.. Well we had a later appointment. We got there and... basically half the menu was unavailable. No Lobster. How are you a lobster restraint and there is no lobster. The oysterswere average. The calamari had bbq sauce on it and was not that tasty.. They ran out of a couple variations of the oysters aswell. The waiter was subpar and was rather rude. I would not visit again. Read more
Sadly, very disappointing. I was sooo excited to finally try, we had reservations last month for a few weeks but they canceled... them 3 hours before due to them having to close for a family emergency… weird? but fine, no problem. Rebooked for anotherSunday night. Off the bat, the hostess had a little bit of an attitude. We sat down and waited for our server for about 10minutes, then waited another 15 minutes for our drinks. The food is so so, I ordered the lobster and it came with no sides,which I find to be a very odd. My partner got the sea bass and it was literally swimming in tomato sauce, you couldn’t evenfind the fish because of how much sauce there was. All around it was not a good time and I was very disappointed because I hadbeen waiting to try this place for months. The food comes out sporadically, so you might get your meal and whoever you’re withmight get theirs 30 minutes later. We we’re ready to go for about 20 minutes and had to flag down another server so we couldpay our tab. As we were paying, I heard the server at the table next to us tell them that they were out of everything that theywanted to order. Reading the reviews, it seems like they run out of food often. Save yourself some money & cook at home ratherthan coming here! I am giving 2 stars because they have a lot of POC & diversity within the staff & I can appreciate that. Halloween bash pre-fixed tasting menu was delicious! And the live jazz was a nice touch. Would eat here again!
