Best doughnut I've ever had. No preservatives, absolutely delicious. No kitsch, just quality. Expensive, but worth it.... Significantly better than Winchell's & Voodoo. Read more

Amazing place with amazing donuts!! The employee seemed tired and stressed when we walked in, but she was SO lovely and kind... even though we had walked on her newly mopped floors. Highly recommend!! Read more

All I did was buy three donuts that cost a arm and a leg almost $8.00 to be exact. And had drive almost to Golden to get to... LaMar's I said thank very much and made my way back home. Read more

They?re decent but I?m not super impressed, especially for the cost. The glazed donuts have more of a birthday cake flavor &... texture than a donut, which is something I?d expect from a chain that has to make their product consistent. They?re like reallyfresh, better tasting grocery store donuts. These aren?t the super light, fluffy, fried donut that just melts in your mouth andis just sweet enough. It?s denser than a fluffy yeast-based donut you?d get at a hole in the wall ?donut palace? type and muchmore commercially sweet. I?m new to CO, so this whole ?raised? donut thing is new to me - they?re just glazed donuts in TX.Also, spending $17 on 4 glazed and 2 filled donuts is going to take some getting used to. Maybe that?s the norm here but I?llkeep trying to find a really good glazed donut in Denver for under $2. Read more

We were intentional about visiting this donut shop today! We actually walked through the city for their donuts - a 35-minute... trek. All for sub-par service. From the moment we walked in, we didn't feel at all welcome, or that those serving us we werethankful we came. I asked the gentleman who helped us about the rewards card sitting on the counter - he didn't offer anyinformation or even explain how the reward points worked. It was clear he didn't want us to return. Secondarily, I asked theyoung lady for a bag for our leftover donuts. She put the bag on the counter and walked away - oh wow. Clearly we were notwelcomed. That's super unfortunate because the donuts were delicious. And, that doesn't matter because we will not return. Iwasted my morning, and over 8000 steps. I could have just gone to Voodoo - where the service is always amazing! Reminder. ifthe owner or manager reads this review: your customers are your greatest asset. They help to pay your bills! Do your best totreat them well. Disappointed. Read more

Like the donuts, slightly pricy. The big issue today at around 11:45AM was how my order was stuffed into one bag. When opened... this is what they looked like. Inside the bag is a crushed Bismarck. Terrible! Lost 2 stars. Update 1/25/2022 - We've been backseveral times since this review and have not had a problem. Still great donuts, raised stars to 4. One star lost due to price. Read more

Highly rated for a reason. We were in Denver for the night and stopped here on our way out of town. The maple bear claw was... legit. No apple filling just cinnamon. We were offered samples of the regular and chocolate glazed donut holes. My eyes wentwide after the first bite of the chocolate. Best in class for sure. Read more

Our first experience at LaMar?s was fantastic! We tried four different donuts: Ray?s chocolate iced, chocolate iced cake donut... with peanuts, devil?s food cake donut and sour cream old fashioned. They were all fresh and delicious, but our favorite was theoriginal chocolate iced. Can?t wait to go back and try some of the more elaborate donuts! The coffee was pretty good too. Thestaff was really friendly! Read more
