Authentic style breakfast burritos in a authentic hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. I ordered the Chorizo breakfast burrito.... Authentic red chorizo, white cheese, eggs, large diced potatoes and homemade green chili. The green chili is flavorful, but notoverly spicy. The size of the burrito is a average. The price is fair and the staff is friendly. A great authentic breakfastburrito. Read more

Just received my food through Uber. Ordered a torta that was too soggy to eat. My 12$ cup of menudo had to be thrown down the... drain due to poor packaging. My burrito had a bug in it!!!! You can see the wings. Gross and won’t waste time here again. Read more

Amazing service, very tasty Mexican food! Also, inexpensive. I had V egg burrito à la Mexicana deluxe. It came with onions and... lettuce and green chili and it was delicious. The service was fast and through but not down my throat at all. Also, do you haveto bring your money to the front when you want to pay. That is so great because then you were never rushed to leave with a checkwaiting for you. Also, I got the Modelo especial which was in a can, which I think is better for the environment. It willactually be recycled :-) God is good! Read more

Chili verde is something one encounters a lot in Denver- what does it mean? Before coming to La Fuente I thought it was the... sauce that pork shoulder was braised in- essentially a salsa verde (tomatillo, onion, garlic, cilantro, jalapeño/serrano) butthis restaurant served us huevos rancheros drowned in something with tomatoes in it, sans pork, apparently thickened withsomething- either corn or flour (I didn't ask). It didnt taste horrible, but such is not the phrase one generally seeks todescribe the ideal breakfast, let alone the halfway good one. The best part of this particular menu item was the frijolesrefritos, which had a good bacon back to them. The tacos are something else entirely- the carnitas were crispy, the tripa aswell. The campechanos had a good char on the chorizo served with the steak. The buche was a bit tacky, though still delicious-but it was on the spectrum of flavor where carnitas are king in this instance. As for the accompanying salsas, the chile dearbol (red) variety was pretty spicy, seemingly without garlic, mostly adding toasted chile flavor and spice. The verde waspretty so-so, tangy but also without garlic- this is a common thing to encounter in many taqueria salsas- perhaps there is atradition I am unaware of. At any rate, the hours of business and availability of uniquely delicious taco meats make this jointworth visiting. Would have loved to order some chilaquiles here, pero no se servía! Read more

The Good: Relaxed atmosphere, fairly authentic burritos and a tasty green chile. Good size portions and delicious tortillas. The... Bad: Not a lot of meat in the burritos. Overall: I would try this place again if I was in the area but I wouldn't make a specialtrip for this. Read more
