Was exited to discover this place when I was new in the area but disappointed quickly by the service I received every single... time I went in. Their drinks aren?t too bad but if you care about sustainability in any way, just know, this business does not.They?re wasteful and I had one barista argue with me because I wanted to use the 10oz plastic sample cup for my drink after Itried their homemade lemonade, but because it didn?t come with a lid (I was okay with that) she wasn?t going to sell it to me.It ended with her saying ?we don?t care, we throw tons of cups away every day? to which I replied that I cared and would betotally fine paying more for a smaller drink without a lid. My point, maybe offer samples in a small glass or tiny paper cupversus a large 10oz heavy duty plastic cup that you ONLY use for samples apparently. As a small business owner myself,sustainability is becoming more important to more people. This business is not concerned about their environmental impact and Iwon?t be going back or recommending because of it. Read more

Their pastries are amazing! I love getting their lemonade, and their smoothie selection (while small) is delicious. They also... have breakfast burritos all day. Very chill vibes place to hang. Went in this morning to grab breakfast before work, I should have been going here since I moved! The guy making coffee was so... nice and so was the blonde lady at the counter. Great service. Staff was friendly, food is reasonably priced, and cafe was clean and welcoming. I met a friend here and would... gladly return and recommend to others. I had a vegetarian breakfast burrito and a chai latte. I enjoyed the burrito and willhave to try other drinks. I appreciate that the staff prevented someone from bringing their pooch into the cafe. I love dogsbut don't appreciate them in indoor spaces like this. Read more

For such a small place LBR really packs in the food & drink options and has plenty of quaint personality to match. If you?re a... dan of lemonade/tart drinks, the citronique on tap is a must try. Paninis are solid and wine list is at a healthy length. lol Read more

It's like a speakeasy, but a coffee shop, and also a wine bar - service was excellent, and I had a new cabernet by the glass... which was delicious (really great wine selection!). The location is south side of DU's campus, within walking distance, which isa good thing because parking is limited. Seating is also limited, though the inside is bigger than you might think, due to asecond room. I would absolutely go again! Read more
