Hole in the wall type of place serving delicious ramen and sushi! The meal was outstanding and very well priced. We loved the... food, kid approved too. My only other comment would be ... as the organize freak I am, I was ready to start to spruce up theplace for them. The atmosphere would be much more enjoyable if it was cleaned up/organized. Cozy and quiet spot for authentic Japanese food made with care. Broth of the tonkotsu and spicy miso ramen were very rich and... flavorful. Table was supplied with an array of sauces, plus a shaker of the ramen spice that added just the right punch. Itasted everything, and it was all delicious. Come here for high quality comfort food and to feel like you stepped into a holein the wall cage in Japan somewhere. Sweet people. Read more

We arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant closing. The servers were very welcoming and courteous to give us seats and take our... orders. We ordered katsudon with chicken and one similar item with shrimp. Not only the base/sauce tasted great but also themeat pieces were large and of high quality. A little bit steeper price is thus justified imo. Read more

I always order Sukiyaki when I come here. It comes with rice and you can add raw egg to your Sukiyaki if you like. The broth is... just so good! Read more

Delicious authentic Japanese food. By far the best Japanese food I?ve had at a restaurant. Tastes like my mom and grandma?s... foods. Their sake selection is stellar. You cannot go wrong with anything. Call ahead to see if they?re taking reservations asthey do not have lots of seating. Read more

They were super busy tonight, especially for a Wednesday, but the owner/chef still made my to-go order super nice, as always.... Even though they're a mom and pop place and are always understaffed, they don't take shortcuts or slack on theirpresentation. Please support them if you can! Their sushi is always a huge piece of fish on top of small piece of rice. I'vetried so many things on their menu over the past 15+ years and there has only been one thing I didn't like. They have so manyoptions, so keep trying if you don't like it the first time. For safe options, I highly recommend their chicken katsudon. It'sa rice bowl and is very hearty. Their ramen is also great, and if you like udon, try sukiyaki udon. If you want sushi, theirunadon supreme is loaded with lots of ingredients. Also try the negitoro don for a cheaper option (it's a fatty tuna blend). Read more
