Terrible portion size on burrito bowl, almost laughable?reached out to the store email prior to a review to inform the... management, they responded apologized said they would send a gift card but never did. Additionally, it?s 50/50 chance if you getbeans they thrown 3-4oz of bean water without straining it before it goes in your food?mmm bean water?delicious. The best Illegal Pete?s location in my opinion! My wife and I live very close and come here often. We?re super busy with our son... and both working demanding jobs so when we need a quick consistently good lunch that doesn?t cost and arm and a leg we comehere. Staff is friendly, situated in a nice neighborhood, and we just genuinely enjoy the food. We appreciate that they havevegetarian options too, and that the food doesn?t taste over-salted or unhealthy. This is the best Illegal Pete's in the state!! Seriously, I would drive the extra miles just to have this type of customer... service. I specifically want to call out Bud for making our experience SO amazing. What I loved the most was I brought my 3 yearold here who is extremely shy, Bud asked her what she'd like on her Taco and she just pointed. Bud wasn't rude or anything. Hewas extremely patient and so kind and helpful. Definitely come here! All of the employees are amazing as well as is the food. Read more

The food and service were great. The patio misters are great when it's really hot but they're way too strong. The table is wet... and we were damp by the time we left. Kids were running around like it's a jungle gym. Jumping on tables, running into people,swinging on the railings, playing with the hose...I blame the parents mostly but the restaurant seems to be fine with it. Read more
I love grabbing a savory burrito and local beer at this Denver institution. The staff is super friendly and cool, the patio... spacious and sunny, and the Baja Fish Burrito is divine. I try to hit up Illegal Pete's at least once a week. Read more
