Clam chowder was the best. Oysters were terrible. Got the original hook and reel seasoning which was great on the shrimp and... mussels but really didn't give much flavor to the crawfish. Went to the Denver location Read more

#2 on our list for best seafood boils in Denver. Started off with fried calamari, shrimp, and hush puppy basket appetizers, all... 3 were table pleasers. Soon after-and I mean soon, which is a bad thing-out came the seafood boils. Consistently good cajunbutter gives life to the crab, shrimp, and crawfish bundle in the Reel Catch, the best value boil offered. The seafood is lessthan fresh, which is to expected in such a landlocked state, but it's still good eats that will satisfy the most particular offoodies. The waitstaff is always worthy of 25% tip, and the manager always seems to have something cool for the kids. Definiterecommend! Read more

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - The Cajun Boil with mild original Cajun sauce. Shrimp and black mussels were really good. The crawfish... was pretty salty and mostly shell so you only get about 8 in half a pound. The sauce was more buttery than seasoning overall butit works for the mussels. The large catch with half pound of clams and head-on shrimp with spicy Hook and Reel Special Blend. The shrimp in this bag felt over cooked or not as fresh since the texture is more mushy. The sauce was great and perfect withthe potatoes and corn Ambience: 5/5 - dim with dive bar type feel but really clean. Lots of seafood based decoration. Lots oftv around the restaurant, soft music in the background Service: 5/5 - super attentive and quick to respond to all needs andrequests. Not dainty about touching the messy bags and no hesitation to help us pack the leftovers and getting more sauce.Didn't quite catch her name but it's listed as "AM B" on the check Value for price: 5/5 - great food, reasonable price, exceptional service Read more

The food came out hot and delicious. The service could have been better as well the menu was hard to read in the dark... atmosphere. However, the food was worth it as well the price was good too! We will be coming back. Read more

Had an excellent visit! Got there when it opened and was tended to quickly. Our server was very nice and explained how to order.... Much like a few places back home for us so wasn't rocket science but appreciated the help. Seafood is always pricey so it wasn'ta shock when we looked at the menu. Spicy was definitely hot but I think the spiciest would have been worth it. You do need tolike really spicy though if you do the hottest. Ordered the crab meat fries and they were delicious! My kids loved their wingsthough sometimes we wish there was some kind of kid option for crab legs. Read more

Got a Groupon for this place and decided to check it out. I was weary going in because of the mixed reviews on Google maps but... it was excellent! Our server was super sweet and very attentive. There was another staff member, male, balet dancing to an oldschool hip hop song over to his table, another staff member visiting us to compliment us and check in. Very awesome vibe, greatmusic also! We ordered the pick 1/2. 2 snow crab clusters, shrimp with head on & black mussels. Came with 2 potatoes and 2 cornhalves. We did the old bay dry rub and my friend had garlic butter on the side. It was super messy and fun and totallydelicious. The restaurant is huge and clean, great for bigger parties. Food came out quickly and steaming hot. The pick 1/2 was$62, I got a $40 Groupon for $24! I almost forgot, we also had the coconut shrimp, not pictured, but was super delicious, perfectly crunchy and big. We didn't even finish the whole bag of seafood, it was definitely filling! Read more

As I entered the building at 11am. I felt like we were the only couple in the restaurant. With so many tables and chairs... available we decided to sit next to the window since it was very dim to see the menu. Upon further inspection, I saw that therewas only one waitress attending us while there were cooks in the back. As we sat and stared at the menu. It took us about 15min to understand what to eat. The appetizer was fried calamari. The entree we decided to do a Cajun combo with a small batchof snow crab legs, and a small batch of black clams. To include rice and noodles to top it off. Little did I know that smallwasn't as small as you can see in the photos taken. 3 different levels of spice. Mild, Spicy, Crazy spicy. Overall we enjoyedthe food just felt overwhelmed with the butter and salt combination. Pros: -Cajun flavor was amazing -Bar/Seafood -No waitservice -Food tasted good Cons: -There were no photos to present the food decided to use Google maps to help -Juicyseafood/Krabbys tasted better Read more
