Late afternoon visit. Not busy. Nothing to rave about. Overpriced food, small portions, no flavor. Burger was not seasoned at... all, not even salt. Totally blah. House made chips, blah. Smoked Chicken Pastrami Sandwich... minimal meat, on toast, like athome. $14 was a bit much. $6.50 for fountain soda (cane sugar) Have paid equal or less for better tasting, fresher quality andflavor at other places nearby...Not impressed and truly felt not worth going back. I typically love chop shop - I?ve visited every location. The menu is great and the food is delicious but here in Lowry, when I... asked if I could so a split order of fries and onion rings the woman at the front was quite rude in her response. It wasn?tcrowded, she could have easily accommodated the request (and I would have happily paid a small up charge and left a large tipfor doing so), but she gave me such attitude it knocked two stars off this review. The Shanghai French Dip is, by far, the best sandwich I have ever had in Denver. I can guarantee you will crave this sandwich... every day after you try it! Went to the Colfax location a few years ago and liked it, so I thought I would try this location. So glad I did. Ordered the... Mediterranean Chicken with all dark meat and it was a revelation. Between the Cous Cous, the creamy hummus, and all thedelicious veggies, I couldn't get enough of this meal. Staff was friendly, and it was relatively quiet on a Saturday evening. The place is cute, nice vibe, and the menu is simple and short. The salmon was amazing, I will note the prices are a little high... for the dining. It's not fine dining which is where their prices are at. However, the pie is fantastic. The wine is served inplastic cups, however, the service was good, and we would recommend a try to folks. I moved to the springs so anytime I'm in Denver I have to come here, even if it's out of the way and I'm alone. The Colfax... location is where my love started but parking at this location is almost too easy. This dish has my heart as a Nebraskan born &raised!! It's always awesome and I crave it.
