First time at CAVA and it was a little disappointing. My husband loved it the last time he went so we decided to get it over... Chipotle. Maybe we went at an off time but they were out of a lot of things and the workers moved through the line very slowly.Not a friendly vibe but I?m sure they don?t get paid enough. Clearly this place needs to get it together. I wish I read reviews before I ordered delivery. I used to eat Cava all the time in... DC before I moved here and never had an issue, so I was disappointed to try this location and get the worst bowl I've ever had.Undercooked lentils, undercooked rice, and stale pita chips. It was disgusting and inedible. I threw the entire thing away. I'mjust angry now. How do you mess up your core ingredients so bad? I really hope I can get a refund through the app I orderedthrough, because that was just unacceptable all around. Read more
Absolutely love this place and love the food. First time visiting this location but I had amazing experiences in both Boulder... and Westminster before. After reading many of these reviews it sounds like this location was really lacking the last few months?Well my experience today was great, staff was nice and helpful, manager was nice and courteous as well. I am thoroughly impressed by Robert?s positivity and customer service. He was so kind, attentive, and didn?t just get me my... food, but made my day better than it was when I came in! Also, there was a guy (Ren, I think) with a really cool hat workingbehind the counter. I thought that added some awesome flavor to the staff. Cava is absolutely delicious!! It is essentially the Chipotle of Greek / Mediterranean food! You choose your meal type (greens,... greens + grains, pita, etc), protein, 3 dips, and veggies + extras, and final sauce. (Pictured here is the greens + grains bowlwith arugula, white rice, chicken, corn, cucumbers, and slaw). I am gluten free and have lots of dietary restrictions, and itwas so easy to look on their website to see what I can eat! AND it was delicious!! I?ve had better service at a gas station Taco Bell. I rarely leave reviews but I?m disgusted at how rude we were treated. The... unhelpful staff and lack of menu knowledge are just the start. We were told they were all out of roasted veggies for the nightand before we were done getting our dressings a new batch of veggies were added to the line. Then as our food was beingslathered in dressing it was spilled and the gentleman working the counter slid our food through the mess on the counter andwhen we asked if the bowls could be wiped off we were told ?you can do that, there are paper napkins over there?. I don?t careif the food ends up being phenomenal, the service was so bad, I?d never consider coming back. I've seen a lot of reviews on here about the service being terrible or that this location specifically is bad relative to others... in or out of state. I disclose, this is the first time I've ever been to a Cava and honestly I thought it was pretty good! Thatremains to be seen when I return again and again of course. Staff seemed to be doing their best and there was a bit of a line,but nothing outrageous. I thought the food was really tasty, one of the few cuisines I really look forward to when it comes toVegetarian is Mediterranean. And this place knocked it out the park for me.
