Cool vibes, great service, lighting fast food and everything tasted incredible. Highlight was the liver mousse served on the... charcuterie plate and the focaccia bread. Didn’t get to try the pizza on this visit but it looked delicious. Our server recommended a delicious sour beer from a local brewery that I loved too. Read more

So good! One of the most unique pizzas I’ve ever had (see pictures), but also one of the best! Such a good combination of... saltiness, sweetness, and heat, along with a perfect crust. Also had some great, very fresh oysters. Great service too! Willdefinitely be back next time I’m in town. Read more

Everything is delicious, the oysters are very pricy but the pizzas are not bad in price. That table sauce is my favorite, it... goes really well with oysters but it can use in anything including pizza. I wish there are more clams on the pizza though Read more

What can I say? It was a delightful time to dine al fresco at Cart Driver. Patrick (Pretty sure thats his name, the nice... gentleman with tortoise shell glasses) was phenomenal and engaging. Brunch and pizza menu were a delight. Love the flavors, thepacing of food, and you can’t say no to the BREAD. The smoked fish with piada hits all the notes. Looking forward to comingback again! I love this neighborhood spot! The Shakshuka pizza is delicious for brunch and they always have unique cocktails or mocktails.... They are also one of the few places I’ve seen orange wine - love it! Sit on their patio to enjoy a nice sunny day. Read more

Cool vibes, good cocktails, tasty pizza, natty wine, what’s not to like? We played it a little safe pizza-wise on our first... visit, but will definitely be back to get the clam pizza! The salad was a nice surprise too— give it a try! Read more

I have no objection to the service. The service was great, waitress excellent. Restaurant ambiance was fine. However it has... been a long time since I have been ( as well the entire group of six people I came with) disappointed and even mad over the kindof over priced menu that is served. I’m not hard to please, I know how to appreciate a grocery store frozen pizza, just likehow I know what a fine Napolitano style pizza is supposed to taste like from my many years of living in France and travelingthrough Europe. Most personal pizzas were in the 16- 20 dollar range with the signature Cart Driver pizza (pictured in thisreview) merely being thin bread with sausage, a modicum of cheese, and kale bits sprinkled on top for 19 dollars. The Hawaiianpizza also contained zero cheese. The pasta dishes for 16 dollars each were mediocre portions at best, and certainly not enoughto make you feel satisfied, or feel like it was okay to pay that much money for what you ordered. I cannot believe the goodreviews this place has. I don’t know if their marketing is excellent, or if it’s just the trendy place of the moment, but itseems like many people have simply not come across good authentic Italian pizza. This place, and the quality of the food, is nothigh enough were it would even seem slightly reasonable to charge extra for the bread basket. I do not recommend this place, you’re honestly better off getting a dollar pizza off Broadway. You’ll be happier with what you paid for, and to be honest,I’m sure it would taste better. Save your money and go somewhere else. Read more

Four of my girlfriends and I had a reservation that was pushed back by the restaurant due to a COVID case scare. Cart Driver... comped us a round of drinks and desserts for the small inconvenience, but really it couldn't have worked out better for us. Wesat outside in one of the greenhouses. Even though it was around 40 degrees outside, we were nice and warm. The drinks were alldelicious, well made and balanced. We had truffle tear-apart bread for an appetizer (from their daily specials, absolutely todie for) and then each ordered different pizzas and pastas. The Hawaiian pizza with the ham subbed for pepperoni was a huge hitat the table. My gnocchi (also a special) tasted fresh and the topping combination of parsnips and truffles was perfect. I'malways a little hesitant ordering raw oysters in our land-locked state, but the ones we were served were fantastic. Our server,Patrick, kept us fed and watered. He made sure that we were well taken care of and truly added to our already great experience. We will definitely be back! Read more
