The best part of Bubu Larimer is the staff, they are extremely friendly, you can tell they really care about the service and, of... course, their regulars! Plus, they keep the restaurant very tidy. The food is also delicious and a great way to break away fromall the fast food that usually found in the area. All in all, these guys are the best (better than the other Bubu?s where Ihaven?t had great experiences) Read more

Excellent experience! These guys made my day and then some! I saw this place and stopped by during an extended layover when I... was walking through Larimer Square. My expectations were exceeded 10x over! Out of all the meal bowls I've had in my travelsthrough the entire West Coast, these by far, are the best. All ingredients used were exceptionally fresh, the protein anddietary options were diverse and accommodating, and they leave you satisfied. Conversation was genuine and personal; I can tellthey are truly invested in the local community and it's people. As soon as I'm in Denver again, Bubu will, without a doubt, beone of the very first places I stop by. Read more

This was a quick search and ended up being so delicious. The bowls are large and can be customized to your liking with a base... that includes rice, greens or a combination. We got the Mexican-based bowl and the Aloha poke bowl, which were both very tastywith fresh ingredients. The sauces/dressings were the star of the meal, IMO. They tied everything so nicely together and wefinished feeling healthy and well-fed. Read more

Great staff, great food, & affordable prices! Highly recommend their cookies & ginger lemonade (seriously you'll regret not... getting the cookie). Larimer doesn't have many take-away options which are quick except for Bubu. The versatility of thebowls/make your own allow for anyone with any dietary lifestyle to find something they enjoy. It's nutritiously dense bowlswhich don't weigh you down or feel heavy. Staff are seriously so nice & helpful - I love to grab Bubu's when I've forgottenlunch or need a hearty healthy meal. Read more

Super disappointed in Bubu Ordered from Uber Eats. Spent $40.00 for 1 spring roll, cost $9.00 which came in a cup. Loose... wrap, old lettuce. Also ordered a bowl with steak. Steak was not fresh and I couldn't finish the bowl. I tried calling and noanswer. No doubt you can improve here. Read more

Variety of well designed 'bowls' with a couple of basic options like white or brown rice and protein. Personal favourite is... their Thai Bowl with chicken and brown rice, ready in 10min or less. Read more

That was a damned good bowl! I ordered the Paleo because the ingredients sounded good. OMG it was soooo tasty. I can tell this... place has an accomplished chef at the helm?the food is clean and the bowls are packed with flavor. Carrot-mustard dressing wasa first for me but now I?m addicted. And, if I do say so myself, lunch made me feel a smidge healthier. LOL. P.S. the gingerlemonade is a must Read more

I have been a big fan of Bubu's for some time, used to be 2-3x a week Republic regular, and have been missing it since working a... bit further out from downtown. Finally got to hit up the Larimer Square spot for the first time today though after months ofcraving it! Bubu gets right what so many places get wrong. First, there is no fear of flavor here. Not only do all of theirbowls come packed with it, there are so many options here that it's just hard to go wrong. And yet, the menu doesn't go nuts. It's simple while still allowing for plenty of choices. My favorites include the Thai (with added kimchi) and Mexican bowls bothwith a half salad/brown rice mix and chicken. You can't go wrong with these! Second, the price. Bubu is a rare place these daysthat gets value right. They're not overvaluing their outstanding product: you're getting a full and fresh lunch for $10-12. Thatseems to be a rarity these days where every sandwich you come across is $12-15 and doesn't approach what comes in these bowls. Ionly wish this place was open more days and beyond lunch. I look forward to finding more ways to make it back often. Read more
