Amazing vegan options! Went before a show at the Denver center for performing arts. Had both vegan options- the enchiladas and... smothered burrito. Highly recommend. I have been to the Blue Agave Grill in Denver twice before and had amazing experiences both times. However, this third most... recent experience has made the Blue Agave Grill my most favorite restaurant in Denver! To start, the menu is a perfect size andhas something for almost anyone. My friends and I are vegetarian, and they have amazing options that are not an after-thought. Ihave gotten the Avocado Tacos all three times I have been, because they are just that great! The drinks and cocktails are alsoout of this world, and are often easily made non-alcoholic as well. I had the Lavender Margarita and Lemon Drop shot which wasso well made and extremely smooth. The service has been absolutely amazing all three of my visits, however, this past visit wasthe best customer service I have ever received in a restaurant. I had called to book a reservation over the phone which wasextremely fast and easy. The host, Taylor, that took my reservation was apparently flattered from our interaction over the phoneand went out of their way to write an extremely sweet note that had the some of the staff going out of their way to greet me.The hostess, Emily, who sat us the evening we came was absolutely amazing and so sweet. After finding out that we werecelebrating my 21st birthday, the manager, Brent, and our waitress, Keaunna, went out of their way to make my birthday asspecial as they possibly could within their means. I am so deeply grateful for their service as it truly made my birthdayabsolutely perfect. The food here is great. We opted for the nacho dish without the shellfish and were extremely surprised at how good it was. The... mango tacos were as good as they sounded and the service was great. Going for 4 stars here as they were unable to switch ourthe tequila for a tequila of our choice, bar was not busy- just a policy they have apparently. Read more
Fabulous experience! Everything about this restaurant exceeded expectations. We started with the queso fundido...a fabulous,... creamy, cheesy heaven! Every meal ordered at our table was excellent....terriyaki glazed salmon, apple wood burger with fries,mango fish tacos, and the delectable soy walnut enchiladas with black beans and cilantro rice. Was in town for a work conference and stopped by for a quick bite, had some of the best enchiladas I've ever eaten. The blue... corn chicken enchiladas were juicy and flavorful, the rice and beans were perfectly seasoned and just as good as the enchiladasthemselves. Stopped in on my lunch break and had the pleasure of being by Jesus!! He is awesome and made everything even better. The... margarita is fantastic!! Like fantastic. The Brussels sprouts are a little plain but I added some balsamic vinegar and it madeall the difference. The salmon was so good, cooked perfectly. The sauce it was served with had me kind of curious but waspleasantly surprised at how well they paired. I loved the squash it came with and it was served over a most delicious rice! We were in Denver for Saturday and for lunch we searched near Denver downtown and decided to have lunch at Blue Agave Grill... seeing their reviews and location near us. Accessibility Blue Agave Grill is located in Denver Downtown and being in downtownone has to find the parking either on the roadside or in the parking garage. Service Our server was amazing and answered all ourquestions about the menu and food perfectly. Plus we didn't had to wait much for the food. Food For the food we started withdrinks which was margarita and then we had chips, salsa and queso. For lunch we ordered Tequila Lime Chicken, Grilled Salmon,Blue Agave Fish Tacos and for desert we ordered Tres Chocolate Brownie Cake. Our server first bought the drinks which wasmargarita along with chips, salsa and queso sauce. The drink was amazing and it was what I needed it. Chips Salsa and queso wasalso delicious. Especially Salsa which was freshly made. After drinks we soon started getting our lunch which included LimeChicken, Salmon and Fish Tacos. We loved the lime chicken along with salmon and fish tacos. Chicken and Salmon were perfectlycooked which made them delicious. Then we got our desert which was Tres Chocolate Brownie Cake which was the perfect end to ourlunch.
