Great brewery overall for the beer. We had to navigate a super rude bartender last Sunday night (10/16/22). It was my friend's... birthday, and the bartender was incredibly short mannered, visibly mad at us for even being customers in her building at all,and astoundingly unhelpful. I don't even necessarily care about great service - just don't make me feel like I'm a nuisance forentering your business 45-50 minutes before you close. I guess they do last call at 7:15pm. Won't ever be back. There are toomany great breweries with happy, engaged employees, to return to this one based on the experience we had. Read more

Nice little brewery down a back alley, hence the name. Nice sized beer garden. We both had the Hazy Side of the Moon double... dry hopped hazy IPA 6.2%. Very decent. I have a small 4oz sample of the Vannilla your Rye barrel aged stout 10.4%. Very goodindeed. No complaints Read more

Love this spot! The beers are great and the service is friendly. The other regulars are always up for some funny banter.... Overall, it's a chill spot. A little hard to find your first time, but give it a shot. You'll be glad! Read more

As a person who loves Belgian beers (especially Tripels), this was the perfect place for me. The place smells of delicious mash,... service was friendly, great selection of various styles of beers, and it feels like a cozy/neighborhood brewery. Read more

I wasn't the biggest fan of the two beers I had here. They were a bit too bitter for my tastes, especially for what I would have... expected for a Belgian beer. That being said, I love the place. The bartender was great, the vibe is very laid back and they'vegot a few games to play if you want. I'd come back and try a few more beers. Read more

Hands down, Berkeley Alley is my favorite neighborhood brewery! Jerry makes some killer beers ? the Belgian Golden Strong is my... absolute go to. The service is great. Cara and the rest of the bartending crew are always super friendly and knowledgeable.Their patio is dog friendly and such a comfortable place to hang out, even in the winter with their tent and heaters. Highlyrecommend! Read more
