I haven't even been to the restaurant yet. I called to confirm if I could place a to go order over the phone or if I have to... order in person being that they are primarily a buffet restaurant. A male picked up and when I attempted to ask my question, theman cut me off and stated "we open at 5PM, not open yet". I saw their business hours and at the time of this call it was around4:49PM on a Sunday. I then told him I was aware of the hours and I just really wanted to know if I can place a to go order overthe phone. He proceeds to talk over me and at this point I could not understand what he was saying but he sounded frustrated andrepeated "open at 5", then hung up on me. I was speechless, tried calling back hoping to maybe get someone else to answer myquestion and someone just kept picking up and hanging up. Safe to say I will not be visiting. Really hurt how I was treated. Icould of been anyone and this man was just rude for no reason. Why even answer the phone? I hope they are more sincere in personbecause this was very concerning. I have had food from this place many times in the past but this time the experience was worst. The lady on the counter was rude... with no smile, no greeting and no welcoming nature. I understand it is locally owned restaurant and not a giant food brand butit is an Indian restaurant and that lady did not portrayed Indian culture at all. We are your customers and should not betreated like this. Please welcome every customer with a positive attitude. Thank you. Read more

Recycled leftovers. Meat is grade 3. Service biased. Denton has just 1 Indian outlet. That?s why they are in business

The place is a nice small restaurant. The food is good, but they are popular for their lunch buffets rather than menu items. In... terms of customer service, the three times I went there, I noticed the lady at the cashier greets and is very polite to peoplewho were not brown, but for the customers like myself she was indifferent and rude. However, all the other servers I had in therestaurant were very polite and very friendly. For the only Indian restaurant I have come across in Denton, this place is goodif you are going for a buffet. The picture is the fried fish appetizer from the menu and the drink is a mango lassi. If you arein the Denton area and craving for some Indian food, this is a good spot. Read more

Went for lunch buffet. Restaurant was Quiet, clean and friendly staff. I have wanted to try Indian food and figured a buffet was... a good choice. I was definitely satisfied with my choice. I tried chicken curry, goat curry, yellow rice, Chana musala, vegdakora and more items. All tasted great to me and even had some spice to it! Read more

The service here was great and polite. The food was delicious! I couldn't decide between Chicken Korma or Chicken Tikki Masala,... Korma was suggested, soooo good. My guy requested Buttered Chicken. We had Samosas and Paneer Pakora (Fried Cottage Cheese) asappetizers. Some of the best Samosas I've ever had. The Paneer Pakora was great with one the sweet table sauces or plain. I alsoordered a side of garlic and plain Naan. We will definitely be going back! They have a buffet 7 days a week. We're going back totry more Don't miss out in this hidden gem. Read more

HAIR in the food!!!! I don't give Google Reviews often, but I decided that it is my responsibility to write this review in... order to educate the public. Today, my fiancee and I went to this restaurant and ordered a dish called Vegetarian Thali. Weordered two chai tea and an extra samosa for us, because the Thali comes with just one Samosa. Once I started to serve myself acurry, the 1st thing came to my spoon was a chunk of BLACK HAIR!! My fiancee was about to throw up after seeing that, and weimmediately informed the waiter about the hair. He seemed upset, and he informed the lady who was in the cashier (named "Raani",I believe) and she didn't even apologize at least once. Instead, she asked us to pay for two Samosa, which we didn't even touch. We paid for the two Chai Tea that we sipped a couple of times and left the restaurant. I'm so glad that we didn't have at leasta bite of that hair infested food and feel terrible about how rude that lady treated us. Please don't go there, unless you wantto be treated rude and eat unhygienic food. Read more
