The meal at The Pickle Factory was a 1 and only event in my almost 69 years of living. I could not eat a single bite of the... Monty chicken sandwich due to the texture/taste of the chicken. My "meal" was the potato chips and a beer. No considerationfrom the management. Out over $100 for our four people, but have visited with two families about it in the 24+ hr. since thismarquee moment. Awesome burgers! Best bloody Mary! The service was excellent! We had such a nice server, top rated super sweet.
I had heard this place was so good in the past, but it seems to have to gone downhill, as likely evidenced by the 'For Sale'... sign near the parking lot. 3 people in the group had mediocre meals that cost $50 and no beverages besides water. There wereonly about 3 things for sale in the pantry, which I had been told, used to be totally stocked. Such a shame. I have a feelingthe next time I come up to the cabin, this place will be closed. Check out the canning store in the basement. We found a delicious sourkraut and some interesting jellies down there.
