I have not been too impressed with their food for a while now. The first time the food was delicious. Now since visiting more... often I have lost interest. The food has been cold, the taste of old fried food or cold friend food is what it has been like.The pizzas are horrible. The fried food is cold, we are forced to eat stringy fries and charged a 2.00 up charge for regularfries which are called big fries there. The onion rings do not have a taste.. My wife asked the waitress not to over cook her hamburger because hard to bite into, well , it was over cooked. The fish and... shrimp I had was ok, could be better, baked potato was hard not fresh. The restaurant was nice but I fine the food was overpriced, not a quality restaurant like Duke's. But what can you expect from a sports bar / grill. We were very pleased with everything here! Very relaxed atmosphere here, walked in and we're seated immediately. The waitress... took our drink orders right then, she came back with them, asked if we were ready to order, needed a couple minute, she was veryattentive. My wife and I simply ran into this place passing through Baton Rouge. I had the Denham Dip sandwich and I wasn?t disappointed.... They have a really great menu and the atmosphere was really great. Friendly and courteous service too. I wish this place was inTexas. Read more

3rd time here. Last two should have been a clue. Invited and went for Saints game with friends. Freezer burned waffle, crispy... burnt edged eggs, bland grits, soggy bacon. Bloody Mary was Tabasco sauce with an olive. Coke was syrup and light carbonation.Coffee was good though. Lesson re-learned. Atleast we didn?t bring the kids for raw chicken tenders this time. Big Mikes Sports Bar & Grill is an awesome place to eat. I went their too attend a working lunch and attend a Kiwanis Club... meeting and forgot to take a picture of the food because it was so good. There private room is also very spacious and very nicefor private events. Read more
