I frequent this BK. When we are headed out of town to Orlando we stop here. It WAS the best Burger King in the area? until... recently. The past few times they have forgotten to put what we ordered in the bag, so we wound up paying for food we never got.And today, while going to get lunch, the experience was not a good one. I pulled up to the drive thru and the girl who askedfor my order was not polite at all. She dryly asked what I wanted and sounded very short and rude with me. I was as nice ascould be. I pulled up to the second window and the same girl who took my order told me the amount, again very dryly and didn?teven greet me. She then asked me what sauce I want, and I asked if they had zesty and she closed the window without answering meafter grabbing the sauces. She forgot to give me my drink. When my food was ready she handed me the bag and then closed thewindow, not a word said, not a smile, and still no drink. Worst burger king I have every drove thru. The employee taking orders was so quiet I had to ask him to speak up three times. As... it turns out he was not wearing his headset properly. But then he forgot half of my order making me go back around. Then didn'teven include straws or napkins. So I went in to complain about lack of service and was talked down to and told to leave. One of the nicest BKs I've been to in a long time. It's a relatively new location, so this is expected. The staff seems to be... quite efficient and friendly. This is the opposite of what I've seen at many other BKs, sadly. So congrats to the staff at thislocation for working like a well oiled machine. The guy at the register who took my order was very polite and quick. That'sgood in a business like this. Too often, fast food restaurants put people who have NO BIDNESS being in front of customers rightthere front and center in the customer's way... And make the place look terrible. They speak mumble, seem unconfident, seemundertrained, don't have a good appearance... Managers need to think about this stuff when just throwing people.incustomer-facing positions. It is NOT for everyone and anyone. Anyway, this restaurant got it right! I didn't get the name of mycashier, but it's the guy behind the counter. I'd hire him if I had a restaurant... And no, I don't know him! His pic isattached, give that man a raise! ???? Reason for only 4 stars... You unfortunately blew it on the 8 mozzarella sticks Iordered... The were either sitting around too long or under fried.. They were hard and not soft and gooey/stringy like goodmozzarella sticks should be. So far the only good ones I've had are from Arby's.... Mozzarella sticks cannot sit around likefries. Shelf life is shorter. I should have complained, but I expect restaurant staff to know how to manage their products. Nexttime... I'll know better and not order them. But otherwise, this is a well run place and my original chicken sammich waskickin'! EDIT: I just noticed the cashiers name tag in the Pics ???? Brandon.. 04/26/2021 Stopped by this morning for two egg n cheese croissants. The were so soft and fresh not like the one I usually get... from the DeBary BK. They are also a dollar less here. What can I say, fresher food that tastes great for less and you only gethappy, smiling faces here! Back now for 4 more Egg n? cheese croissants for the office. It is by far the bestlocation in the Deltona/DeBary/Orange City area. The customer service is what makes this Burger King a great location. Thestaff are always friendly, well groomed, clean uniforms, and very polite. They do an outstanding job taking care of theirguests. 10/23/2020 5 Stars I have been going through drive thru regularly for the past few months and have really found amarked improvement in both customer service and food quality. I stopped inside today and had a wonderful interaction with themanager and order taker. Upgrading my star rating. 07/23/2020 4 Stars Ordered in drivethru today after horrible experience atthe DeBary BK the last two days in a row. The cashier was friendly and polite. She asked me to pull up because of the size ofmy regular order. They brought my order out in a large bag with three medium bags inside. DeBary stuffed all my items in onemedium bag. 5/27/2019 1 Star Order in drive thru today. The fries were cold and the burger patty was so cold the cheese didnot melt. The strawberry milkshake was sour and we returned it. I would have returned the whole order but we did not plan onreturning until we discovered the milkshake was sour. I know this is a new restaurant but the lack of oversight and trainingwas overwhelming apparent. I am dropping the rating from two to one stars after this last experience. Went to the new Burger King near I-4 and the guy on the speaker in the drive thru was so much fun it made our day and we told... him so at the window but never got his name and then we got a wrong order, noticed it down the road, turned around the fun guycame to window and apologied and made us a fresh order. Great place, Great Staff. We will be back. Read more
