I asked politely if I can use the washroom while I am waiting for my takeout food inside, but the lady refused and said that the... washroom is not for the public. I really needed to use the washroom but I cannot leave my food. Read more

Nothing special about the food. Lemon chicken is tasteless, portion are small, and price are expensive compared to other... chinese restaurant in Surrey. I ordered Dinner for 2 (A), and price is about $40 (after deducted 10% - self pick up). Theirservice also super super slow, took 1 hour to get your food. When they say 1 hour, they actually will give you the food exactly1 hour later. The owner is not friendly at all. I'll definately not returning to this restaurant, and not recommend to anyone. I've eaten inside this restaurant about 3 times prior to 2020 and have ordered takeout about half a dozen times in the last two... years. Tonight I ordered: #176 Fish fillets with bean curd hot pot (fish was tasty and cooked perfectly, sauce was perfectlyseasoned #159 Ginger beef (lots of ginger flavour and I can see the ginger fibers on the beef, this may be the best I've everhad as other places have overcooked this dish #130 Teriyaki chicken (tender chicken with the right amount of sauce, the broccoliin this dish was perfectly cooked) #7 Fried tofu with spicy salt (my daughters love this) #47 Pan fried rice noodles with beef(I've had this dish all over the lower mainland and this is one of the best, excellent "wok hay" and the noodles were perfectlycooked. I paid particular attention to the noodles because I had this dish two weeks ago from another restaurant and thenoodles were sadly overcooked). Overall I've noticed the food here is slightly under salted (compared to other Asianrestaurants) which I appreciate. I cannot stand overly salted food anymore. Food has been extremely consistent here. Excellentcovid protocols were followed with sanitation of the PIN pad and pen before each use, directional arrows on the floor, plexiglass at the cash register and distancing for food pick up. There's no dine-in just take out. Canny, who takes the ordersis always very nice and gives me an accurate pick up time. I'm happy to be a patron of this business. Read more

My first experience at Asian Jazz left me with great first impressions. The staff was welcoming and the decor of the small... restaurant was warming. Our party of seven order several dishes as seen in the pictures. All the food came out hot and reallydelicious. However, I failed to rate this restaurant 5/5 stars because I eat Chinese food quite often and this restaurant is notexceptional but simply good and dependable. In short, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and come by again in the nearfuture. Read more
Another weekend and another order of Chinese food from a restaurant we haven't tried yet. My husband and I ended up ordering... (through Uber Eats): 1. Pork Dumplings 2. BBQ Pork Fried Rice 3. House Special Chow Mein 4. Sweet and Sour Pork 5. General Tso'sSpicy Chicken 6. Beef and Broccoli The delivery time for the order was a bit delayed from the restaurant side, by about 15 orso minutes, so it wasn't a big issue for us. The pork dumplings were overpriced for what we received - it was $15 for 12 piecesand man, I wish we didn't order it. They didn't give an option with whether you want them to be fried or steamed. The dumplingsmust have been baked, because the casing wasn't bubbled from being deep fried and it was definitely not steamed since that'susually how I prefer my dumplings, so the outside was very dry and the filling was quite bland, even with the side of sauce thatthey give with the order. If it was steamed, it may have been decent, but it's hard to say since that wasn't the case. The BBQfried rice, Sweet & Sour Pork and Beef & Broccoli was good and were how it should have tasted, so no complaints with thesedishes. The House Special Chow Mein was definitely my favorite dish out of the 6, but the only complaint I have, was that thepork slices were too thick, which I was pretty excited about visually, but when I ate a slice, it was very very dry andchewy. The dish that was the most disappointing was the General Tso's Spicy Chicken. First and foremost, it wasn't spicy. Themost disappointing part, was the fact that the chicken did not taste good at all. It was hard, chewy and you couldn't even tellit was chicken. We aren't totally writing off this restaurant since they do have an extensive size menu and it wasn't terribleby any means, but we also won't be running back. Read more
