We just left the restaurant and had to review. I gave one star because of the service not the food. The owner needs to check... his staff. The service is not the quality of food and the atmosphere. The wait staff was rude & nonchalant and it seemed likeus eating in the restaurant was an inconvenience to him. The server tossed our food to us like he was working in fast foodtruck. Also No one came back to the table to ask us about our meal or if we wanted another bottle of wine. Highlydisappointed. Read more

This was our first time at The Grove and it was an amazing experience! The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly.... Jeremy really knows the menu and the drinks to fit your desired pallet. Courtney is an amazing bartender! I highly recommend theespresso martini! Trust them when they mention it?s made with tequila it is well worth it! They really go above and beyond tomake your time there personable and fulfilling. We are from NY and will be returning every chance we get! Read more

This is by far one of the best or possibly the absolute best restaurant in South Florida. From the service to the food to the... drinks you can't go wrong. Dina is an incredible host, she always makes me feel welcome and ensures that my patronage isappreciated. I've only had Jermey as a server and he is great. The way he explains the menu and lays out the specials could beturned into a play. Not only is he among the best servers I've ever had but he's also a terrific performer and orator. If youhave him then you'll know exactly what I mean. (You really should ask for Jermey) The food is second to none. From New York, toLA, to DC to Miami I've never had food this good. Everything on the menu is incredible, (I'm actively working on trying it all).A few key recommendations are the Steak, The Short Rib Fusilli, The Pasta(any pasta), they're all clearly home made, and thebread is to die for. For apps the squash Blossoms are unbelievable, I've never had anything like them and the beet salad is theonly salad I'll eat. For desert the chocolate cake is above and beyond so it's a must have but I've tried most of them and youreally can't go wrong. So please go in to see Dina and Jermey and you'll have one of the best meals of your life, (I've alreadyhad two and look forward to more soon) Read more

The ABSOLUTE BEST experience in every corner you can imagine going out to dinner in every way! The ambiance, the service, the... drinks but especially the food! Everything my friends and I ordered (and we ordered EVERYTHING bc the menu was so exquisite)was heaven on a spoon. I even felt like I was being educated in the culinary world. Even the silverware was unique andgorgeous which I secretly took a picture (my girlfriends were so embarrassed:) I am from New York City where I am accustomed to5 star dining and The Grove was a breath of fresh air! I will be a regular bc it is a place that is my ?sure thing? meaning?JUST INCREDIBLE! I highly recommend Read more

This was my first, and most assuredly, last visit to @thegrovedelrayfl and it?s not a result of the food itself. In fact, the... food itself was quite good. The level of service, however, was the worst I?ve experienced since I?ve been in Florida. Not havinga reservation on this particular Saturday evening, we were able to get a pair of seats at the bar, which we were served by themost abrasive, rude bartender I?ve ever encountered. From the moment I sat there was nothing but an air of contempt coupled witha tremendously poor attitude. When asking for a drink to be altered slightly, as it was not as requested, you would havethought I had personally insulted her. Trying to put this aside with as many patience as possible, we were on to ordering somefood hoping to change the mood. Starting with the brioche roll, which was phenomenal and could have crushed 2 or 3 we were on tothe beef carpaccio which was equally delicious. Requesting however, based on my gf?s past experience, light on the oil as it wasswimming in it on her prior visit. Pictured is the roasted acorn squash. At first I thought it was quite delicious, and as Icontinued, I noticed some small crunchy notes, thinking it was perhaps a seed of some sort. About two minutes later, as mythroat starts to swell, I inquired to her and the server standing there if there were hazel or walnuts on the dish. He insistednone, she began to question it. Then she proceeds to tell me how I really need to inform my server of any allergies. Not, let mecheck, I am so sorry, but instead telling the customer how wrong they are. The server checks with the kitchen and sure enough, nuts. Then again, she informed me of how wrong I was and that it was my fault I didn?t inform her of my allergies. This was atest of patience that I haven?t had to exert at a restaurant any time in recent memory. The meal abruptly ended there, leavingbeyond disappointed. At this level of quality they want to exude along with the highest prices in Read more

This place is a real neighborhood gem! Quality, eclectic eats, great service and romantic ambiance. Jennifer was awesome and... always made sure we were more than pleased with our choices. I am an octopus fanatic and this was the most perfectly cookedtentacle in the world! The butternut squash, hazelnut and sage pasta was wild on the palette and loved the beet salad. Crazy forthis place! Read more
