My husband and I went to dinner at an Italian restaurant at the marketplace on Atlantic avenue. We did nit have reservations... but the hostess sat us in a booth b at the back. We had a fabulous time! The food was delicious! The service excellent! Ourwaiter Robert was spot on-attentive. We even had a yummy banana/chocolate cake and my husband has a double espresso & I had acappuccino The people were not old farts with walkers either They even had live music It was so lovely I am a very happygirl We celebrated our anniversary A bit pricey but well worth it. I brought a party of 6 for dinner Sat night. We noticed water droplets on the table, but assumed it was from the water... pitcher. Our food was good, server was good. We discovered the water was coming from the ceiling a/c. , dripping down on ourtable -that is disgusting, and almost certainly a health concern. I requested the manager twice, but he refused to come to ourtable to address the problem. Our waitress apologized. She told him 2x, but he never came over. So, I paid 150.00 for a meal (4people ) that may have been contaminated by bacteria in the a/c system. I'm not well today, and neither is one of my guests. Irate the manager Zero stars, for failure to address the problem in any way. That problem, and the mandatory 20% tip for partiesof 6 or more, didn't give me a way to express my displeasure. The other 2 people at our table paid for themselves. All in all wespent a lot of money, and today 2 of us are ill. The health department should be notified. I've eaten here before and never hadany issues, but I can't stomach what happened last night. Blatant disregard for the customers and their health. Read more

Terra Fiamma has been highly recommended by a few people. I went here with my mother who has been there three other times before... and enjoyed it. Our experience wasn't the best. The food was good which would have earned 4 stars but the service wasn'tacceptable. It felt like they were understaffed (as many places are). Service was slow but we also felt rushed whenever theserver was at our table. From ordering to paying the server made us feel like he wanted us to move faster. I guess it needs asecond try and maybe it would be a better experience, but not sure I want to try again and not enjoy another meal when there areso many other options within a short walk there. We really like dining in this place. I love their meatballs with that red sauce ???? it's Amazing!! Overall is a good... experience, they're pizza is good ???? the place is nicely decorated and pleasant ???? however there's waiter that everytime wego waits our table and he seriously is a pain as a waiter, he never asks if we need anything and he always looks cranky ????it's honestly very annoying because we have seen that they have great waiters -nice and always looking to please your needs- andwe always get the same cranky one, and we have been the 5 times in the last 4 months ???? we keep coming back because their food??????? Six of us arrived at 6PM for our reservation. We were seated immediately and then waited. And waited. At about 6:30 our waiter... took drink orders. At about 7 p.m. he took our food orders. Dinner came quickly and was delicious. We had asked for 3 separatechecks and received them about 8:15pm. I had a $15 coupon that I gave to the waiter when I gave him my credit card. He came backquickly and said that it was too much trouble to take it off the check. Oh did I mention that the music was so loud outside thatthe six of us could barely carry on a conversation.
