I ordered a pastrami on rye with potato salad and a pickle. Sandwich came with no potato salad or pickle. The bread looked like... a regular slice of rye cut thinner on a slicer. It was falling apart. When I complained they sent some snotty woman who wasgiven the wrong reason for my complaint . I said the bread was so thin it was falling apart. She started rambling about how muchI spent and how it had 6 oz of meat. I finally got snotty back and said the bread is the problem. How could that not be relayedcorrectly ? Anyway they brought me another sandwich on normal sliced bread. It was just ok. Meat a little tough. Disappointed. Ishould have went to 3 G?s deli where the sandwich is always good. I was just in the area and decided to give this place a try.Big mistake. I don?t understand how anyone would find that thin sliced bread appealing. Looks to me like they are trying to savemoney by slicing the bread to double volume or they were running out of bread and were trying to make it stretch. Read more
Wow! The Knishes are a must have, so, so delicious and they make it themselves. The service is phenomenal, they forgot to give... me something I ordered but they were very nice about it, let me come back to pick it up and even gave me a coupon for a halfdozen bagels. They're food here is delicious. Lobster roll is amazing. I'm so glad my mom introduced me to this place. Such agem! Read more
Came in on a Sunday late morning to pick up bagels for the holiday weekend. All I wanted was 1/2 dozen bagels with 5 plain. ... Rung up the order and took my payment on my card. AFTER my card was charged I was told that they had no plain bagels left. Rather odd since you are still 4 hours before closing and you are out of the most popular bagel? So I asked her if any morewere coming out of the oven since my family will not eat anything other than plain bagels. She disappeared to the back andmanaged to come up with the plain bagels I asked for. Silly me assumed they were going to be piping hot fresh bagels. When Igot home, not only were they dead cold but it was very apparent after tasting them (heated one in the oven and one in thetoaster) that they were day old bagels. Excellent accidently Found Deli,for a chef like me. Classic Deli vibes as well a lovely Seafood selections. Line to order went... quickly,Cashiers courtesy and proficient. The Fish and fries taste and the Manhattan Clam chowder is so so good Rich an velvetywith aboundance of clams. All Sammies come with a salad I got the cuccumber it was lovely and Homemade, they must have given atleast 6oz of Mid-rare Lovely Toast beef and the pickles (I am a serious pickles consumer of them) Brine use on them makes themso tastee... As a born and raised New Yorker I'm a stickler for a true New York style deli feel/atmosphere and Brighton Beach Bagel & Bakery... is what I've been looking for. The women working the counter was so kind to me and had a huge smile on her face the whole timethat was very helpful. When I order, Ironically, I ordered a New England style Lobster Roll and I could have sworn theypurposely over filled it with lobster since I mentioned it was my first time coming in. I cant tell you how many rolls ive havewhere its like they forget the lobster ???? . I found my secret New York spot, finally! Fantastic! Read more

Came here after I had only heard good things about the place. It?s located in a large shopping plaza but is easy to find.... Despite the full dining area, I was quickly able to order my to go food and the staff was extremely polite and seemed just to bea happy group. The owner or manager (not sure who but it was a woman with brown hair) even offered an elderly customer help tocarry a large order to her vehicle, which just further proved how nice they must be! I always love to see others respect elderslike this. The lobster roll I got was both HUGE and delicious. the bagels were NY style which I highly appreciate. The pricesare extremely reasonable for such high quality fresh food especially the lobster. Highly recommend not only for the food but theawesome customer service! Place has changed to me from New York style bagel to a beach seafood and specialty shop. While the bagels are prominent, the... lunch and dinner menus consist of different types of fried seafood. The Fisherman combo has just about all the offerings in onehealthy meal. I bought my lox and cream cheese separately from the choice of bagels with lox. I had 4 ounces of lox with almostunlimited cream cheese on a fresh bagel. I also was able to obtain Dr Brown Diet Cream Soda. Read more
