Last week we went to the Hollow Restaurant for the first time. Since we hadn?t been there before, we ended up ordering a large... selection from the menu just to have tastes. Literally everything was not only delicious and satisfying but complex andinteresting as well. We rarely go out to dinner and since my girlfriend is a high-end professional chef, we always have totravel from one to three hours to find something interesting enough to make it worth the trip, so we were especially delightedto find a place so close to home of such high quality and were amazed we were hadn?t found it earlier. The service wasuncommonly warm and attentive and the décor elegant and very much in harmony with the cuisine. I?ve also been going to thecafé for breakfast and lunch on a regular basis which has been equally a real pleasure. The breakfast pastries and croissantsand the lunch sandwiches are of a quality one simply doesn?t expect to find in this particular corner of the world, and theambience for my tastes is just what I look for in a café ? a perfect place to sit, have a cappuccino, and write. Finding the front counter staff limited in any type of assistance. Averageand not impressed by the limited seating. Maybe if I was a local it would have been different. I prefer to get waited on.
