Haven't had a disappointing meal from here yet. They have a lot of great options and their house sauces for the wings are a... great alternative to the"normal" flavors. We love to pickup an adjustment Shorty's menu items for a Saturday night dinner to gowith a movie. Read more
We have had great experiences with both food and service in the past, we like to frequent the dining room on Fridays, which we... know and understand can get very busy. Upon being sat and greeted we already had our food picked out and asked to order whengreeted at our table. We ordered one basket of fries, a small pizza w no cheese and a large sausage and mushroom pizza. After 45minutes of waiting I approached the server stand to ask about our order. At that same time the table next to us, who sat down 15minutes after we did, received what looked to be their appetizers. I questioned the wait for at least the basket of fries andthen questioned why thr table next us received their food ahead of ours. Approximately 10 minutes later a different server thanours approached our table and communicated "we have a new server and she shouldn't have told you that we could put a rush on afry order on a Friday night, it's just not possible on Fridays" and that the table next to us had placed their app order at thebar some time ago. We were informed at that time our food would be ready in 4-5 minutes. 15 minutes later, table next to usreceives their full dinner order and then shortly after our food arrived approximately 75 minutes after ordering it. Theexplanation given to us by the "experienced" server was rude and just a very poor excuse. When you mess up just own it andapologize. We were made to feel like we should have known that fries can't be rushed. I'm sorry, but working in the foodindustry, dropping a basket of fries should be one of the most seamless things to do on a Friday evening for an appetizer.Thank you for the great past experiences, unfortunately this one will stick for quite a while. Please set expectations properlynext time when waits are expected to be that long...or if an order doesn't get placed properly. All said and done we took ourfood to go when it arrived. Read more
Maybe the fastest and friendliest service my family has had since the pandemic. Also they had stickers for my toddler son's... drink cup which kept him busy until the good got there. Good place Read more
Was nearby at Blackwing shooting and in the mood for pizza. Shorty's came up and my buddy and I stopped in for late lunch. ... There are so many items on the menu that look good. Got a pizza loaded with toppings and it was fantastic! Finished off withfresh cookies to go. An unassuming spot with great food and super friendly staff. I wish I didn't live 3 hrs away, but nexttime I'm in Columbus area I know where to get great food. Read more
