We don't get to ho too often but when we do, it's a real treat! Some times parking and wait time is not so ideal but ut is... always worth it. Drinks, food, service, all wonderful. Clean space, clean restrooms. Food is delicious and good portion size, worth the supper club price. I have beef burgundy tips and my husband had the fish fry. We're already looking forward to ournext visit. Read more

Our experience here was up and down the whole night. We had seating right away, but we had a lengthy wait for all of our orders.... The servers were very nice though everywhere is short staffed so we were being patient. The drinks tasted either watered down,or stiff. Food was mediocre as steaks were dry. We expected better quality of food for the price of the bill. At the end wenoticed we were charged extra for a meal we didn't order. The server told us she was sorry that she charged us, but didn'tremove it from our bill. We also were charged a full lemonade for a splash of lemonade in a drink. Recommend looking at yourbill before you pay. The atmosphere is really nice in the dinning room. Read more

We had a nice lunch on Sunday. Started with Frog Legs for an appetizer. We both ordered duck. She had Apple Glazed, he had... 1/2 duck with 4 sample sauces. The cherry was the best. We both had soup and salad. Finished the meal with a Drunk Munk. Enjoyed our visit to Duck Inn Read more

We visited the Duck Inn on a trip to Wisconsin (from southern Illinois, in my case), along with my family. I grew up in... Chicago, had family in Wisconsin and like many, I headed north during the summers for vacations, reunions and camps. I think itwould be fair to say that my parents, my brothers and myself were all seeking a nostalgic Wisconsin supper club experience onthis trip. It is on that score that I enthusiastically recommend The Duck Inn. The decor and environment was 100% what I wouldimagine, but it's all clean and updated and well cared for. The aquarium set into the bar is really cool as well. It looksclassic, but we were told that it's a relatively recent addition. As far as cocktails, I didn't personally order any, but atried a Wisconsin Old Fashioned that I poached from a family member and it was quite tasty. The drinks ordered by us were allclassics, including a Shirley Temple slurped down by my son. My family seemed to enjoy them very much, and they definitelyseemed "supper club". Along with our brandy and whiskey heavy orders, the restaurant's drink menu was extensive. It appearsthere are a great many very tasty ways to have a drink or two or too many. Particularly of interest were the warm winter drinksand the sweet ice cream dessert cocktails. We didn't order any because we were already eating everything in sight and drinkinglike Nonny and Da were still alive and more would have been too much. If we visited regularly though, it could be a lot of funto work through those menus. For appetizers, we ordered the escargot and calamari. The calamari was amazing. The escargotwas...not my thing in the slightest. I was really happy to have had the opportunity to give it a shot though. My wife anddaughter are both fairly picky though and ordered apps as their mains - onion rings and mozzarella logs, respectively. They atevoraciously and the onion rings had just the kind of breading she likes. I tried both and they were great. My entree Read more

Classic supper club experience. Our first visit will lead to more visits. We had five diners from ages 80 - 14. All enjoyed... their meal. The half duck is so tender and a good value. The pasta dish was a swirl of color and flavor. Lamb chop passed myBritish wife's test (The British know lamb). The bacon wrapped duck special was a tad small but tasty. Sunday lunch was quietin a nice way. The on line reservation was not needed but worked slick. The bar has a classic look as well. I can see havinga more casual lunch there in the future. Read more
