Love this charming French restaurant! (Don’t look for a sign cuz there just isn’t one) to the rear of the Belfry Hotel, we... were seated on the patio (a little too close for comfort as 3 tables of 2 were immediately as if 1 of 6! … good if you areoutgoing but perhaps not if looking for romance!) Beautiful setting, great classic jazz music, nice service, food and drinkswere good. I loved my burrata salad, French onion lacked cheese but was good. Entrees beef bourguignon (good) and pork bellyconfit (Minus the requisite fat) were good. No GF dessert for me so vanilla ice cream… but hubby enjoyed a chocolate cake(which I wish was flourless…) Left right at Sunset as all the Theatre goers were arriving for a concert! Read more

Listen this isn't chicago so don't expect chicago value, quality, or quantity. The location was poorly marked. So it was hard to... tell where to park. Also being a black woman the parking people were surprised that I was eating there. The location was niceonce you found the entrance. But the website where I made the reservation said I could order entrees but in fact they only did aset of very small snacks. It was very overpriced. Very homie and Midwestern ingredients. If I wasn't Jewish and ate pork, maybeI'd have enjoyed it more. The price point wasn't that high, but the quality was too low. It would have been ok at $40 or $50,but at $150 I expect more. What a fabulous experience and the perfect all-around evening. My friend and I had the 3-course theatre menu and each course was... a work of art, besides delicious; and we also enjoyed the wine pairings. Service, ambiance and the fine dining experience isbeyond words to an amateur. Thank you to the Chef, Lesly, Schylar, and Anne Marie... what a great team. At 7pm, we walked nextdoor to the Belfry Theatre for the On the Border, Eagles tribute. THE BEST!! Then (yes, more!) back to Bistro 67 patio at theBelfry House for wine, coffee and pastries under a perfect night sky. What a fabulous night and priceless experience. Pricey, yes; but worth every penny. Read more

Opus at the Belfry is a truly unique dining experience. It's fine French dining, many small delectable courses. Wonderful... food. Artistic presentation. Chef is fantastic. Plan for a relaxing meal (at least 2 hours). Small intimate diningexperience. Belfry Inn attached for an overnight experience. It's expensive but very special, memorable. Reservationsrequired. Menu is pre-determined by Chef. Read more

This is definitely a special occasion dining experience. The pace between courses was perfect, plenty of time to savor, enjoy,... discuss, share. We spent about 3 hours total savoring our courses. The sommelier was fantastic, as was our food sever. Bothtook the time to explain each offering, answered questions, and made recommendations. I would definitely encourage doing thewine pairing with the meal. The executive Chef Philippe Chevalier, came out at the end of our meal to ensure everything was upto par. He also took the time to answer questions, and share some personal history of how he arrived at Opus. The price was tobe expected, for the level of service, quality of food, and wonderful ambiance but certainly not an "every day" dining optionfor most. We even bumped into the owner on our way out, and spent several minutes discussing the dining experience with him. Hegenuinely appreciated our feedback, listened to any suggestions we might have, and was humble and gracious in explaining howOpus, this amazing dining gem, with an acclaimed chef who holds 7 Michelin Bib Gourmand awards, came to be in our own backyardin little Walworth County, Wisconsin. Be ready to be "wowed"! Read more

This is an upscale French food place, very beautifully designed and well planned. Next to a small music theatre and within a... boutique hotel. It is probably one of the best restaurants in WIsconsin. A “food with a destination” it feels like they areaspiring to reach have a Michelin level. I would have given them 5 stars but they still working out the kinks. As can be seenfrom the menu the food is not cheap (you get what you pay for). Read more
