Ordered a Tampiquena dish (Meat, Enchilada, Rice and Beans). The meat was over cooked and tough. The rice was really mushy and... beans were okay. Food had 0 flavor and for a dish like this with a coke, was a total of 18 dollars. At that price point, I?vetasted better Mexican dishes. Chips and sauce beans and rice cheese enchilada were good. Chicken enchilade had lots of meat. But it had no flavor. Lemonade... was too sweet and not tart enough for my taste. We had the dining room to ourselves. Read more
I had never been here but was surprised about how authentic the Mexican food was for being on this side of the border. Fresh and... warm what seemed to be like homemade corn and flour tortillas. The only set back was the breakfast menu was up till 11:00 amthen lunch would kick in. Wish they could offer both menus all day. Menudo was spicy and tasty! Read more

It was alright food, we got the tacos rojos and nothing super bad or good about them. One thing I noticed is that it was all... just very greasy, which I don't like at all. My hands smelled like greasy tacos for the rest of the day even after washing myhands multiple times. I mostly just felt gross after. Read more
Do not think because your close to the border that all the Mexican food is good. This place is aweful! Beef enchiladas arrived... luke warm and then they used a microwave to warm them up. Food is bland and lacks flavor. No chips or Salsa, but you do get asmall bowl of soup. Worst Mexican Restaurant I have ever eaten at. Maybe I should have paid attention to the empty parking lotat the 5 o'clock hour. Note to owner: spice up the food man, bring out Salsa and chips and serve Hot food! Do not cut cornersusing microwave ovens your customers will know! I will not be back and advise others to avoid this place! The various Tacostands are way better! Read more
