I was in the mood for traditional breakfast and this place seemed to tick all the boxes. True to their name, the pancakes they... had were pretty good. Not too big, not too dense. The sausage patties I felt were not that great. And the eggs were very verygreasy. I think the biggest letdown was my server. They seem to forget about me. But other servers took care of things like acoffee refill. Overall it was okay but doesn't live up to its ratings Read more

Service: Fast, frequent, and friendly. we didn?t need to wait to sit down maybe because we went at a non busy hours (Friday at... noon and then again Saturday at 1:15PM). The server came several times to refill our coffee cups. We didn?t have wait too longfor our food. If you order baked pancakes, it is usually a 20-minutes cook time. It was written on the menu as well. Food anddrink: I would recommend any of the baked pancakes. The Danish Harvest pancake was savory and cheesy with crunchy crust. TheGerman pancake was puffy and tasty with fresh lemon squeezed and sugar powder. We also liked the classic egg benedict. Personally I would skip the avacado toast which tasted bland. It needed some salt or seasoning. Same goes for the bakedomelette. Read more

Always our go to place for breakfast when we are in San Diego. We like this location more than the other 3. The service here... is always friendly and accommodating, and our food comes out fresh and in a timely manner. You can?t go wrong with the GermanPancake. It?s pretty large, so me and hubby share, but we order some eggs and bacon al a carte to complete it. For our 4 yrold, we have ordered the one, two, three! or the chocolate chippies for my daughter, and while they are good, she doesn?t reallyeat anything other than the eggs. And you can?t go wrong with the nice fluffy eggs here. So now we just order her some type ofegg breakfast. I like the coffee here, but my husband doesn?t. See you next time Richard! Read more

It's been a long time since I ate pancakes. So I went to Richard Walker's for a late lunch, and was surprised they were open and... still serving food (it was after 2PM). Great selection of breakfast and lunch items on the menu. I tried 3 pancakes with 3toppings (blueberry, strawberry, fermented cherry...all homemade fresh and tasty). My daughter had avocado toast, which wasnothing special. Great iced tea. Ate outside in the warm sun. We decided to walk a couple of miles at Torrey Pines beach aftersuch a big meal. Can't beat Richard Walker's pancakes and a brisk walk on to the beach. Read more
