What a great place for healthy eats and a fun vibe in an active locale of Del Mar! Plenty of seating inside and out. Great Vegan... and Vegetarian items as well as fun eats for meat eaters etc. Beer & Wine options are available. I went for late lunch andparking was easy but might be busier closer to normal lunchtime. They also have an app to download for deals and rewards forpurchases. This place is cute. The energy is very calm and relaxing, so a fairly good place to sit and enjoy a chat with a friend over... lunch. However, I wouldn?t say the food is stellar. Given the price, about $25/person, I would say it?s fine for fast casual,but the draw here is really more the atmosphere. In cases where the FOH is busy, downstairs is fairly nice. There is someoutdoor seating, but I would recommend putting some work into it as outdoor dining is most enjoyed when one can lounge, and theseating didn?t look the best. Overall, this is a good place with good company, and a fine choice for a takeout lunch meal, but Iwouldn?t say it?s anything to rave about. With some attention to seasonings, I could see serious improvement as the staffcertainly knows how to cook the food, but I assume they are limited in flavor by what their employer requires. Okay I'm annoyed but I'm not sure this is a fair review so take this as a warning. I came here because I wanted to try a vegan... restaurant and when I looked up vegan this place popped up. And I walked in here and there's a lot of different food items and Iwas reading closer it looks like there's not a pure vegan restaurant which was maybe my mistake for not looking closer but I'mpretty annoyed cuz I drove all the way over here expecting to have a plethora of things to order. My food was terrific! This is a nice place to grab a quick bite. Plenty of healthy food items to meet most everyone's taste. I... picked the chicken enchilada bowl and thought it was outstanding. The cream sauce was yummy and the raw Jalapeños on top were anice touch. As you can see in the picture the presentation is nice but more importantly it was served hot and the ingredientswere fresh. There can be limited parking but there is tons of seating downstairs. They offer a few tea options but no sodafountain. It's a walk up counter to order, a number is given and the food is brought to your table. My enchiladas were $12 andthe portion size was fair. I'll be back. Read more

We love flower child because it caters to everyone, has delicious food and has a menu that allows you to customize your food.... Plus, their gluten free cookies are freaking amazing!! We've been to their Charlotte, NC location and their Del Mar, CAlocation. You're going to get the same experience and food at any of their locations, except you will find very slightvariations of the dishes because they make the food fresh, to order and cooked by chefs, rather than a fast food approach.
