First time eating here. Loved their crust. Staff was friendly and owner was happy to serve. Clean and well organized restaurant.
It's funny, as a student, I never ate here. But after I graduated, I came back and tried a slice. I must say, of all the... options in DeKalb, this is far and away the best pizza in the entire town. It's just a cut above anything else you can get inDeKalb. The crust is good, and the ingredients are fresh. It makes for a great pizza. The environment is real lively as well. Read more
There has not been a time that I've gone in that's been a bad time or service! Always a Pleasure stopping in...and I get PIZZA!... Damn Great Pizza! BEER NUGGETS!!! Huge bag! They are not shy to put your ingredients on your pizza! Always full of flavor,always filling, always great! And you can get personal frozens to take home!!! BOOM!!! Best pizza in the world for me. I have been enjoying it since the 1970's. A nice party room for our family gathering of over 40... people last weekend. Game room for the kids. Nice wait staff brings your pizza and drinks to the table. Enjoy it! Read more
We ordered ahead to save time, even though we were eating here. Needn't have bothered; still waited for the food preparation. ... Oh well.... Very good food. Haven't dined-in here since pre-pandemic. The 5-cheese lasagna was delicious. Taco salad had lotsof olives i.l.o. the spurned jalapeños. It was "fine" according to my dinner companion. She loved the breaded/fried mushroomsappetizer. The cinnamon nuggets were tasty, but needed more cinnamon/sugar. Basically fried bread pieces (but again, tasty). I'll augment the plentiful leftover pieces when we eat them back home. Didn't try the pizza this time. All in all, a pleasantexperience with an attentive server and appetizing comestibles. We'll be back when driving by Dekalb again in the future. I decided to stop going here after I heard they discriminate against people who live in trailer parks. I heard about a delivery... driver who refused to deliver to a trailer park, and instead wanted to meet the customer at a carwash. The owner even had theaudacity to defend these discriminatory practices. This restaurant is also very outdated. The reason they aren't criticized forthis is because local people like to come here for years and live in the past and not face reality. Most restaurants in urbanareas would be made fun of for being so outdated. It's also a safety issue to have outdated cooking equipment that could containasbestos. Read more
