An authentic Japanese bar, the food is very tasty. I will definitely come back.

How have I missed this place??? It's only a few minutes from where I usually stay and the food is amazing and unique! Will... try to add a few photos when I have a chance. The restaurant has an unassuming exterior and plenty of parking. They open lateand have a huge variety of options - and they bring this giant hand-written board of "specials" which I highly recommendperusing. We had the "Japanese" style raw oysters, which are one of my gf's favorite styles, whitefish and yellowtail sashimi(I lean toward the yellowtail as better), spicy conch salad (very good), miso soup, a "real" snow crab califiornia roll (OK),shrimp & veggie tempura (delicious), and Chrysanthemum tempura (which was the leaves, not the flower and very, very good). TheChrysanthemum is worth trying, it reminds me of another restaurant that used to make parsley tempura. It sounds really strangebut it makes a lightly crunchy, maybe fresh potato chip, kind of tempura. It is fairly oily but worth sharing at thetable. Staff is very friendly and I can't wait to get back to try out some of the other menu items. The nigiri is out of this world and their specials are particularly delicious. Every bite is well-crafted and so incredible.... Highly suggest sitting at the sushi bar! Their hot dishes and izakaya staples are also really great. This is a gem of a Japaneserestaurant with something on the menu for everyone. Update to add: they also do omakase by reservation and it?s INCREDIBLE. Thechef/owner puts a ton of care into every bite and it?s clear he has a lot of pride for what he does. It?s better quality andvalue than omakase from other spots and he makes it such a wonderful experience. I can?t say enough about how wonderful theiromakase is. Food was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked/prepared. We had Yaki soba, Yaki udon, Kake udon soup, combo sushi, chicken... katsu. Everything was delicious. Chicken katsu was perfectly cooked: not dry at all, moist inside and crispy outside. Mochi andmatcha ice cream was so good. Kids loved it all. Waiting staff were also amazing. So so happy we decided to check this restaurant out. From the outside it looks like a hidden gem, one of those places that?s... definitely overlooked and underrated. And that?s exactly what it was a HIDDEN GEM! the fish was outstandingly fresh, flavorfuland literally the best we?ve had in south Florida?. I even feel comfortable saying the best we?ve had on the east coast. Iwon?t go into detail on what we ordered but I will say Tyler was our waiter and he will lead you in the right direction on whatto try. WOW, my wife and I love this restaurant..authentic Japaneese sushi and sushimi, among other delicious surprises. The owner... prepares the food with love and pride.
