Sunday Girl's Night Out included a stop at Kahuna searching for live music to dance the night away. No live music, but music was... playing. Awesome surfboard decor with a beach vibe. Ok, so I decided to check this place out to try their acclaimed ????'s.. The business is more like a locals bar joint then... anything else. They have a small outside seating area. Now, I thought the tacos where really good. Got some tater tots as anoptional side. I unfortunately had to remove 2 stars due to the full blown lack of enforcement for the use of a mask to avoidthe spread of a certain virus that's still causing havoc here in South Florida. While they clearly post the required use of amask on a sign by the entrance; not one patron nor the bartender where wearing one. Needless to say, I decided to quickly placemy order with the bartender and waited outside the establishment to take my food elsewhere to eat.???????????? Read more
I love this place when I'm in the area. Super fun environment to drink and have a good time! They have a game called "shut the... box" and jello shots you have to ask for it but it is super fun to pass time and have drinks. They have a menu of crazy drinks,none of them have disappointed me. Every bartender has been amazing, super friendly and personable. The food was not good but weweren't there for that. It's definitely more of a bar with beach side bar food establishment, I would not reccomend bringingkids. It's the people and drinks that make it amazing and keep bringing me and my wife back!
