My family (me, my wife, and twin 5-year olds) got to this place at 8:30. The waiter was slow but took our orders by 8:50. I... ordered a old fashioned. By the time the drink came, all the ice melted and it was completely watered down. The menu clearlysaid that if we want garlic bread, we had to ask for it. When we placed our food order, I clearly asked for it. By 9:20, my kidswere crying because they were hungry and did not get their food. I accosted the hostess as she was passing by and asked themabout the garlic bread. They said they were behind. We eventually got the garlic bread which was hot, but very dry and with nobutter and hardly any garlic. By 9:40, we grew even more frustrated as our food still had not arrived by this time, we had beenin the restaurant for more than 1 hour. We asked to speak with the manager because of the bad service and inordinate wait timefor the food. She did not understand why we were upset as the food had been in the queue for just ?17 minutes?. We placed ourorder more than 50 minutes prior to that. That means the waiter did not get around to putting our orders in until more than 30minutes after he took our orders. I can make no comments about the food as they did not serve us any. But the service wasprofoundly poor. We went in hungry and left even more hungrier. Please do not go here. The people here have no idea how to run arestaurant, have no idea about turn around times and turning over tables to increase customer volumes, and absolutely lovewasting your time. Read more

This place is spectacular maybe a little bit more expensive than the average Italian place but you have to consider it's on the... main strip they have music playing on a lot of good nights and weekends. Was hungry while scrounging around the area for food. We decided to settle with Amante's and it was an excellent choice. The... menu was full of authentic Italian food, sure to satisfy anyone. I decided on a calzone with meatball in it. Best calzone I'veever had for sure! It was big, meaty, cheesy, and full of flavor. Staff was exceptional too. They weren't there just to takeyour order or ask how your food was. They made the opportunity to connect with the customers! Read more
