I was super surprised when we walked over to Pizza Delight from the Holiday Inn Express in Deer Lake. The food was delicious and... prepared thoughtfully. We (2 adults) ordered the 15' Broadway pizza - pepperoni, ground sausage, red onion, Mushroom, greenpepper, tomato. The chicken cranberry walnut salad and small order of the donair roll ups (they charged us for 6 and sent out8!). All were spectacular. Pizza was sky high with toppings and salad was beautiful and delicious. My mom was over the moonwith the donair roll ups - and really, what's not to love?! We had enough food for leftover dinner in our hotel kitchenette thenext day - all for $80 (tax and generous tip in). We also had two large Ricards Red Draft beers as well. Great value! First time ever in Deer Lake Pizza Delight and they did not disappoint! The restaurant was probably the cleanest on the island... and the food was simply amazing. My family was served by Jenna L and she gave top notch service and was very friendly andattentive to us. Will definitely be returning if we are in the area ?? Read more
We got the seafood pasta and the chunky vegetable greek pizza for our last dinner in Newfoundland and it was truly a delight. I... tasted the shrimp, scallops and lobster in the pasta but equally. None of them overpowered the dish. The sauce was so creamy andsmooth. The highlight of my meal was the pizza. The chunky vegetables with a delicious feta cheese at the top added a wonderfultexture to it. The service was excellent as well. Pizza was ok nothing great. Sauce was very thin. It was a long wait. I was told I could substitute a couple of toppings for... extra cheese for no extra charge. I Added garlic fingers and it was a deal there for a pizza and garlic fingers with somethingelse $26.99 I thought mine should be that price but I paid over $40. Ordered 6 party pizzas. Feta cheese pizzas were super good. Cheese ones are just okay. 6 party size pizzas fed 34 people... comfortably and there were leftovers. Read more
Absolute slowest service I've ever experienced. It took over an hour to get food for my family with maybe a dozen people... total in the restaurant. Food was not well made. Ordered dessert forbkids after, and waited over 20 mins before cancelling.Only go if you have no other plans for the day. Read more
