Great served right away other worker even asked how we were!! Food came out in less than 10 minutes I loved the fries!!
I have been here many times as I have established myself as a local the past 8 years. Today I was pretty disappointed in the ... quality of my dish. Chicken Picatta. The sauce is thickened with something that just did not taste right. The dish is supposedto be cooked with capers and sliced lemon in a pan,the chicken is supposed to be dredged in flour so the brown bits add theflavor and thickness to the lemony wine sauce. It was tiny bland chicken pieces. the roasted peppers are that from a Jar, theasparagus was lackluster. I also ordered a watermelon mojito made with malibu watermelon liquor. The drink was not great andmade incorrectly. Firstly it tasted as malibu coconut was used instead, there wasn't enough mint and it wasn't muddled for theoils of the mint to release their flavor. The liquor was poured last in the drink, as you could taste that floating on top. Ihad to muddle the mint with my fingers and add a splash of my kids raspberry lime Rickey to make it a palatable drink, by thispoint all the ice had meted with me trying to remedy my own drink. While the server was nice and friendly; the service wasinattentive and rushed. If the server had come to our table to check on things, I could have politely explained my drinksituation, so I could get something else. Or to get another round of rolls, or ask for grated cheese for my meal to make thatalso a little more palatable. My daughter got an crabcake blt, which in essence sounds ambitious, creative and tasty. I wasproud of her for ordering something a little different. The crab cake was indeed homemade, but hard to identify crab meat. itwas more flat and soggy. It did not have those crispy edges when fried to perfection in a pan with butter. Sigh, alsolackluster. While the meals and my drink proved disappointing, this is me not saying I shall never eat at this establishmentagain. Mmmmmmmm delicious!! I had the meatloaf and my husband had the pork chop which was cooked to perfection...so juicy and... flavorful! The atmosphere was very welcoming and listened to the live music which was a man on guitar...totally awesome! Thewait staff and bar staff were spot on perfect ! Can't wait to go again as every plate I saw come out of the kitchen lookedamazing...I was like...ohhhh I gotta try that!! Read more
1 star because the staff were great and a additional star for the calamari being delicious. The silverware and area were dirty... and I understand the test if time but I never complain about things needing to be cleaner like I have here. The drinks werelimited not only by the menu but by the drinks available behind the bar. I wouldn't order any drinks off the menu and I usuallygrab a pair or more or expresso martini's and taste from all over I actually opted against it here. They just didn't tastegreat. The calamari was delicious and fresh and so lightly crusted and still held together I would go as far to say it wascooked perfectly. The old fashioned seafood chowder was more of a watered down soup the fried shrimp plate was cooked good andfor the clam strips where so so.
