A good spot for Mexican food. Good service and great drinks to pick from.
We showed up midweek, about 1pm to an absolutely full house and a very short wait. The service was exceptionally good, though... the two of us were seated at a very small table in front of the emergency exit. There were a few supply chain issues, like allplaces are experiencing these days. For one, they didn't have the Midori for the drink on the menu I'd ordered, but were veryupfront that it might be the case, though the drink I ended up with came blended and not on the rocks as requested. All in all,besides that our table was too small to accommodate our food, the only complaint I could have is that everything was very salty,which is odd for me because I over salt everything I cook or eat. They were very busy but only waited like 10 minutes out of 15. Very Good and quite friendly waiter! One had fajitas-steak, one... Shredded beef tamales combo, one chimichanga. We were pleasantly stuffed!! Read more
Excellent Mexican food and service. Good indoor and outdoor seating. Downtown Decorah Iowa.
Busy on a Sunday midday and with good reason. We noticed how popular it was with the local Hispanic community which speaks well... for the food. I had the Burrito Chorizo with eggs which I really enjoyed. Chorizo was flavorful without being too spicy. Thered sauce had a nice sweetness to it. My wife enjoyed her Quesadilla as well. Lovely large pork Verde tostado. Their hot salsa is the best I have ever had. Wonderful food. Service was good also. I got sat... at the worst table, where people come in and hang over ones food, laughing and talking. They graciously moved me to the secondworst table, next to the kitchen. Such is often the fate of a solo dinner. I do wish server's would ask about desserts or funafter dinner drinks rather than just presenting the bill. It would increase the bill as well as their tips. My Pollo Asado and my friend's sopa tortilla were so delicious! Norma was our server, and not only was she delightful and kind,... she was very efficient and knew what I needed when I said I couldn't have gluten. ???? Can't wait to come back, and I hope whenwe do, we get to see Norma again! Read more
Food was quite good. I had the verde pork burrito and it was possibly the best I've ever had. My wife really was also very... happy with her meal. We had a large group amd everyone enjoyed the food and the service for the large group was excellent. Iwill definitely go back again. Read more
