Amazing food with service to match. We went for lunch with 5 people. We even called ahead and asked if they had Jambalaya for... lunch, which they did and specially prepared for us. It was incredible. Eddy, our waiter, was extremely polite, genuine, andmade sure we had everything we needed. Casey in the kitchen made sure everything we ordered was 10/10. The view from therestaurant is gorgeous, so I can highly recomend going here for lunch or dinner if your in Decatur. Read more

Brought Hollywood producer and reality tv stars to dine and Chef Casey went above and beyond planning the entire meal from the... appetizers to the dessert. Chef visited our table multiple time to ensure the guests were enjoying the selections. The waitressTabitha was a pure joy. Gorgeous waterfront venue. Clean, well maintained, professional staff. - a bit upscale, appropriate pricing. We had an... absolutely lovely dinner on the expansive deck, watching the sunset *and double rainbow* over the water. Heard peacocks call outhauntingly from the zoo across the river. Feels like this place is beginning to decline. In years past this was a go to; but this recent experience was below... expectations. I ordered Triggerfish which was sold out even though we arrived at 6pm. The Sea Bass (choice 2) also sold out.Ordered the 5oz fillet medium as choice three. Steak was cooked well done, but would be hard to cook medium as it was only ahalf inch thick. The potatoes were great, the beans were good but not much flavor, added salt and pepper which took them fromnothing to good. My family went for supper on a busy night so the wait time was long for food (which was not the main issue). It took 1.5 hours... before all but one person out of our party was served. He sat through all of us eating with ever receiving his food. Thewaitress was wonderful and kept apologizing over and over. Everyone was finished eating and had requested their bills before hismeal came out. At this point with a 18 month old along for dinner it was time for us to go. He decided his 40 dollar meal?to-go? was something he did not want to take with him because he couldn?t justify paying all that money to eat it cold at home.As we waited even longer for the manager to come out, everyone left and he left his one meal on the table. Everyone else paidfor their food which was a lot of money! As we are walking to our cars, the manager comes out and confronts our one person andasks if he wanted his to go. He said no and she asked if he was going to pay for it. He also said no. Instead of apologizing forhis wait or offering really anything- she said she has our license plates and will call the cops. Unbelievable experience. Wewere somehow at fault for their failed service. We will not be returning. Read more
