Service was horrible! Waitress didn't give us straws or silverware. We were staring at our food for several minutes before we... were able to get her to give us utensils. She was at a table two down from us on her phone the entire time. I left a $2 tip onlybecause I feel bad not leaving anything, and she gave herself $5 on my card! That is theft! I must say the wait was worth it,the staff was full of smiles,the cook made everything great lite weight on the bacon eggs... lightly ,why don't they have favor cream for your coffee. Hit or miss depending on days. Never come on a Thursday morning. Slowest cashier in Waffle House history. Cook had to take my... order. I also had time to make this review and she STILL has not technically taken my order. By the way... I'm the only to-goorder here and there were only 3 people inside, already seated and served, so there was no excuse. Update: my waffle was darkerthan I am. So this rating has changed. I placed a to go order online paid for it and all. I was told pick is 1112am. Arrived and food is... not ready not only not ready but haven't been called in to the grill at all. I was ignored when I stated I had a pick up. Onewaitress that was nice enough to help me out and called my order in to the grill. Now 20 mins later I'm still waiting on myfood. The service has never been this bad... and when asked for the manager Tony he is not on site. And they tried to give me agriller to speak with pretending to be a manager. It was good and almost done on time. The waffles was much thicker than normal and tasted like a new recipe laughing out loud. It... was really good. Everything was cooked perfectly bacon, hash browns except for the Hugh tomatoes and not diced, eggs, toastbutter to perfection. I was there 8/19/22 around 8-9am. Shout out to the cook???? Read more
Avondale's Waffle House never disappoints. Our Lil 4 yr. old grand neice loves it and thinks everyone there are family. The food... was cooked as requested with extra plate to share with our Lil guest. She had to have cheese scrambled eggs, crispy???? with herwaffle. Our waitress was very timely, cordial, and personable. This was one of our best Waffle House experiences. Read more
Wow.. my first time at Waffle House. I gotta say this was one of the best experiences i had in awhile. Rae-Rae and the cook... I came during 2nd shift. Good and fast customer service. I have a habit of eating slow. Unlike most waffle houses, I didn?t... feel rushed to pay and get out. I appreciate my waitress and everyone else who was there working on thanksgiving day. Thanks youguys Read more
