Last night we attended the new location over in W. Marietta. We brought one bottle of white wine and one bottle of red to share... with our group. It was an amazing and intimate dinner by Chef Yu and all the staff. Jenna was so informative on all theinformation about the style of fish, origin, season and preparation. Any questions we had she was able to answer. I even went asfar as asking where they got their beautiful plates and bowls and I was very impressed to know a lot of them were vintage orvintage inspired as early as 1940s hand painted in Japan. The entire menu was designed beautifully from taste flavor and all.Every fish they chose was truly fantastic. For those who Love the artistry of Omakase this would be a great experience. It isdefinitely on my top list in Atlanta. Some menu highlights were the uni tasting, steamed custard with salmon roe, filefishnigiri, sharkskin sole with engawa, seiko gani nigiri & negotoro hand roll. Read more

Top tier food and hospitality. We do omakase at least 1-2 times every year, have done omakase across North America, West Europe... and Japan. Chef Leonard's omakase is outstanding; the produce he uses shines all on its own, and he makes inspired choices whenand how to accompany it with other flavors and textures. For example, a nigiri of roughskin sole is served with its fin on top,and we were surprised at how the fin part just melted away in our mouths. I especially loved how he used uni - at first as anuni rice accompaniment to blackthroat seaperch, and then the uni pieces served as nigiri. We also appreciated the sakerecommendations and tastings, so we could sample chef's suggestion, as well as some funkier, more intense styles. Chef Leonardis a consummate host as well as chef and is chatty about his work, produce, and his impressive sushi knife collection. Read more

Wow what an amazing dining experience and food and drinks! I love Japanese food and have been searching for a minute for an... experience like this. Chef Leonard was so accommodating throughout the booking and for me rebooking process. The experience wasvery unique and felt like a chefs table/intimate dining experience. Aside from delicious food, the educational aspects of thedining experience by the staff and chef was very awesome. My favorite part besides the food was seeing the fresh wasabi beingmade and also Observing the chefs methods for preparing different pieces. This experience also helped turn my stance on uni, theuni was the most buttery uni I ever had! I?d recommend this experience ten times over ! Read more

I've been searching for an "authentic" Omakase experience since coming back from a trip to Tokyo and Omakase Table is it. Hands... down the best Omakase experience you can get in Atlanta. Chef Yu is a true master of his craft and his 6 seater diningexperience was as close as you can get in Japan. With seasonal fish selections that change daily, you can almost guarantee aunique experience every time you visit. My friends and I all left extremely full and happy. Read more

Chef Leonard and his team were friendly and welcoming! They will give you suggestions on how to consume the meal and were... attentive to guests' needs. The sushi is something I have not tasted before or have found in sushi restaurants. The quality isamazing. My party had the 20 course and we all left full. I highly recommend trying them out! I took my parents to the 5:30pm seating on 4/18 and it was phenomenal. It was a different menu than what we had two months ago... and the variety was great. Chef Yu curated a fantastic experience and it was truly a memorable meal. Looking forward to visitinghis new spot in West Midtown when it opens this fall! Read more

Chef Leonard and his team will change your perspective and expectations of what a sushi experience truly is. You will compare... all your other sushi experiences from that point on to what you taste and experience at his omakase, and nothing in Atlanta willtop it. I believe my next reservation will be my 10th time dining with them, and they have delivered an exceptional experienceevery single time. They are kind, genuine, and when you hear people speak of umami, it is this. Read more
