Nice lunch with family and friends. Menu has changed a little recently, so there are a few old favorites that were missing, but... it was understandable in the current climate. Cheese puffs were still there and tasty as always. Enjoyed everything we orderedand the staff were super friendly. Have never been disappointed at Melton's! Read more
The server Sayed was phenomenal. He was kind, attentive, and a polite gem. The food was delicious. The chicken and bean nachos... was fresh and seasoned well. I had the turkey pesto sandwich and it was soo good. Sayed was right, that pesto mayo was boss! Myhubby had the tuna melt and my daughter had the Buffalo tenders, which they enjoyed very much. We used to eat drink frequently at Melton's more than 20 years ago. We moved and did not go back until last Saturday when we... happen to drive by and decided to stop in for a bite and a beer. Long story short, it was a good call. Super friendly service,even the manager on duty checked in with us. It was like the 20 year gap never happened. We both had sandwiches which weredelicious. We like this place. I will say that it used to be better before Covid. It is a staple neighborhood restaurant with beer and... wine. The chef?s salad is probably one of my favorite salads in the city. I have tried to recreate it at home so many times,but it?s just not the same. They cut down the menu since Covid, and there?s not as many options. The sandwiches and soups areall good. I do miss some items and the overall feel of the place. Read more
